I would dehydrate the juiced out pulp and grind them up and will use it in my smoothies because the pulp microbiome will love as their food in the human gut most people throw away.

Great info, John! Like most people, I never thought of juicing the skin of dragon fruit. I guess it’s the same with pineapple, I don’t remember if it’s on one of your videos I saw that, but I was surprised as well. I guess I’ll have to experiment with my own Nama J2 and see which rinds still yield some juice, and which ones I like. The importance of being frugal! lol Have a great weekend!
Wow. I didn’t know about the vacuum sealing lid! I have a Vitamix already. Would that lid fit on that? I will have to look at your videos. Thanks John. I had no idea about the rinds! Brilliant
Hey John, love your videos. I was wondering how much better vacuum blending is vs juicing/blending and then vacuuming the oxygen out afterwards. I've been using all of your information to make a decision on buying a juicer. Nama vs Kuvings. However I have a Vitamix and I wouldn't have a problem converting into a vacuum blender. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks man
Asian markets near us.. the fruit are either rotten or still $7 a dragonfruit. Better to just juice what is in season and cheap near you... coming into apple season.. I can get drop apples from the orchard for dirt cheap.. so apple it is!
Honest question - How come you didn't also (or instead) *blend* the skins of the dragon fruit into the smoothie too, as opposed to only *juicing* the skins? My thoughts are that perhaps the skin would be too bitter, or perhaps we're not really meant to eat the skin in its entirety, and you juiced it to extract the nutrients / phytochemicals in it, while leaving the inedible stuff behind. I probably just answered my own question, but perhaps you can expand as to why you did not blend the skins into the smoothie as well. Thanks
You Could Juice the skin for sure in the smoothie, but the title of this video was to how to best juice dragonfruit, which in my opinion is to juice the skin. If I blended the skin, it would change the texture of the smoothie, that some may not like as much, but it would retain more phytonutrients than the juice for sure.

Awesome. Had no idea you could juice the skin. Thanks, John.
Hey John! Wow never knew you could juice the peel. Dagon fruits are expensive here in PA.
Awesome live, thanks John!
Pen here. Good video. Thanks John.

I've gotten pink and white one which were sweet but it had a onion taste in the background. Thanks for the reviews!

I figured it’s just best to eat dragon fruit.
