The DMC2 aims to be the most powerful and capable CNC machines for its size and price. Many other "desktop CNC" machines in this price range are not capable of the material removal rates that the DMC2 is, and they lack the rigidity to cut steel and other hard materials. Take a look at other desktop machines and compare the speed and accuracy that they can machine metals, as well as if they chatter. Chatter leaves rough surface finishes and is often an indication of a machine that isn't built very rigid. In the DMC2 Feeds and Speeds video I intentionally included clips of the machine breaking tools and stalling with large diameter end mills to show that at the maximum spindle load, there still was no chatter present.
I will make a desktop cnc that can process metal. Is the surface of the square profiles you use smooth? What is the standard of Square Profiles? DIN or ISO no.
I really like your machine and your customer philosophy. I wanna see you succeed are you running any FB/ insta ads and you should try to email the diy TH-camrs. that's all I can really add I hope you are and if not def look into it fb/insta ads are super cheap and their targeting is insane and I'd bet most diy TH-camrs would love to review if you send for free. Also talk to naomi wu she made that 3d printer with the treadmill bed I'd bet she'd have great connections for marketing advice. peace and love
