My father-in-laws leg was saved from a blood infection because of his life long diabetes. My husband works on hospital equipment. My father-in-laws doctor at the time wanted to remove his leg up to his knee. My husband told his dad about the hyperbaric chamber, his dad told his doctor. Being a diabetic, once you start chopping off extremities your wound will not heal easily. My Farther-in-law decided to take his son's advice and the doctor told him he would no longer be his doctor. My father-in-law did 4 months of treatment, 4 times a week. His leg completely healed. He went back to the doctor to show him his leg, the doctor did not say anything. The chamber is great for wound healing, victims of almost drowning, autism in children.
Natural healing is the way along with diet and exercise. The allopathic world is about money and nothing more with the exception of injuries. So glad your father in law got the advice and info he needed and wasn’t afraid to take the leap. People look at the natural ways of life as witchcraft. I’ll never understand it!

I went on a diet of absolutely NO sugar and carbs, which was very difficult, but doable. I went for walks every night. Lost 40 lbs, and the CFS finally left. My Mother is a stage 4 colon cancer survivor. My sister and I bought her a hyperbaric chamber and she received iv treatments of high doses if vitamin c and glutathione. She did these treatments in conjunction with chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She feels the alternative treatments and of course God almighty saved her life. She still continues to get vitamin c treatments to keep her immune system strong. Good for you for trying other treatments rather than just western medicine. Dr John Campbell here on TH-cam has a whole series with a cancer specialist from Australia that has been using a lot of alternative treatments with his patients. It's very interesting.
I got into the habit of stuffing the extra plastic grocery store bags in tube socks. Once full I stitch a piece of yarn in a gathering stitch around the top edge, pull it tight to close the end, make a loop with the yarn and toss the filled sock into a bin. When I need bags for shopping in my basement Pantry, I simply hang a sock of bags on a hook by the entrance to the pantry, snip the toe of the sock and pull a bag out and shop. I have alot of bags since Ohio rescinded their ban on bags at the beginning of the Pandemic. For Christmas when visiting NJ, I gave friends a pair of pretty socks full of bags. My one friend immediately run out to her car and hung one off the back of the driver's seat headrest. It was gold to her and bold as brass she asked for a pair of socks for her birthday. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Lol
Ugh! In Colorado we have to use the reusable bags no more plastic bags. We can buy the old school paper bags that rip to pieces when you put anything slightly heavy for 10 cents extra. 🙄 I miss plastic bags they are like gold out here. 😁

You should like into a good naturopathic Dr. Sounds like you need a heavy metal detox and some work on getting of rid of parasites. You will be a brand new person.
@ruralqueen1568 I go to an alternative care Dr. No heavy metal in testing done. Already tested for parasites, done cleanse. Thanks for the input. Being on Medicare, none of the alternatives treatments are covered. It gets $$$$ when on Social Security.

I have saved the plastic grocery and wally bags for several years now. We use them for trash bags in the bath room and when we go camping. I fold them into thirds then in half and put them in used kleenex boxes. You can pull on up when needed and they store better in the boxes.

We celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, and my grandson and I didn't put up our 2 little trees and the large nativity scene until Christmas eve. So, we are still baking and celebrating Baby Jesus birthday for the 4 guys and me who live here until January 6th, the Epiphany, when the wise men brought Our King His kingly gifts. I don’t use oils anymore and exclusively use butter. I bake a lot and go through a lot of butter. Butter is over $5 a pound now. I got 4 on sale at $3.99 and it was the best price I’ve seen in months. I live alone but already used 2 of them. I should have bought more.
For holidays, I have my grown children and grand kiddos over a week before the holiday, and we get to be together the whole day! For us, it's so much better than everyone rushing to get to multiple places for a short time. We have done this for several yrs and we will continue to do this. I love it!
The low histamine diet led me to the low oxalate diet and now I understand why minerals play such an important part in managing pain levels and clearing toxins. Seems there's also a link between oxalates and autism too; fascinating stuff.
My young friend who I brought your cookbook for loves it. It is a high-end book. Thank you I got it on sale, and it is worth so much more. She spent the whole visit looking at it and reading almost every recipe. Loving all of them. Still talks to me about it every time I talk to her. If you have considered buying the cookbook I suggest you buy it. SOOO Worth it. It is probably one of the best cookbooks I have seen in years. Well worth the price she is selling it for.

Influenza A is going around. I just got the flu for the first time and didn't know until I had to be taken to urgent care and was diagnosed with pneumonia, which I've also never had. This all happened to me after moving from western North Carolina to Illinois in November. Change of climate and moving into a family with three kids of different age groups bringing stuff from school.
Enjoy your kids forming families. Wait for the grandkids. We have some home and some with inlaws. Christmas and Thanksgiving was toddler central. We are thankful and exhausted.

Yes I am working my way through it. Part of the garage is we just got over our Christmas sale so i always have to go back in get it all back in place and organized. The other part of the garage was I was going to do makeover videos so I got a bunch of stuff to do for videos and then recipes took off so I stalled on that project....yet going through it all...again! :-)
You can boil water in that burned pan and pour in a tablespoon or so of cream of tarter. Let it boil for 10 minutes or so. It should clean right out. If some remains just repeat and it should be perfect.
I do the same thing with the plastic bags! The SAME thing! The tissue box & the big black bag. LOL I'm so glad I'm not the only one that saves the bags!
I thought of you when I was stockpiling after Christmas!! Got large bags of name brand mini candy bars for $1-2 at aldi and little debbie Christmas trees for $.79/box. My kids were thrilled. Also got some mechanical toothbrushes for $4.

Last week Kroger had BOGO on Perdue chicken breasts so we bought 4 packages. All 4 yielded 13 pounds of meat in 20 individual breasts. A couple were small, but most were large enough to split in two so I thought that was pretty good. I am trying hard to only buy what is on sale in a given week so I look over the ads pretty carefully. I am a Thrive Life consultant so we also have lots of freeze dried food too. My husband has Alpha Gal disease so poultry and seafood are our main proteins. I make my own soft butter with butter and avocado oil.
I’m so happy for you that the treatments are helping. Has your mom tried the treatments? Also, I wanted to let you know I appreciate all of your get prepared videos. My husband is retired military so we are pretty prepared but the reminders are good if we missed something. I bring that up because my neighborhood just had an incident where a house being built some how got the water and sewer lines crossed and now the water for the whole neighborhood is messed up. They have been flushing the water for 2 days and testing it so hopefully it will be better soon. This made my dog very sick and couldn’t figure out what happened. Now we know. He drinks tap water. We drink filtered water from fridge. Good thing we have water in jugs and bottled for drinking and cooking. You never know when something crazy will happen 🤪

A stainless steel pan making noise while heating is usually normal and happens because of the different thermal expansion rates of the metals in its construction, causing slight vibrations and clicking sounds as the pan heats up and cools down; this is especially noticeable when the pan has multiple layers of different metals like aluminum and stainless steel, and is not a sign of damage unless the noise is very loud or accompanied by other issues like warping.

In my area when butter goes on sale there is always a limit of 2 and we live 25 minutes from the store! It’s so frustrating. The best deals always have a limit!
I remember that I read in the cleaning instructions for my Allclad pots, to not soak in water until pan cools down so it doesn’t warp. It should be ok to use still.
The refrigerators coils can really cause a problem--prob need to do it (the coils, etc.) about at least every 6 wks or so--also we were told to pull it (the refrig) out from the wall and vacuum the floor underneath as well as possible. Then there is a panel on the back side to unscrew and vacuum out that part, and around the outlet where you plug in also. It can really damage your fridge if you don't do it regularly as we found out.
Part of our family have been sick for over four weeks, too! Coughing mostly. So many people have it. I live in Michigan and my friend in Alabama has it, too. Another friend who lives in the suburbs of Phoenix has it, too...😐
And you're doing exactly what I would've done with the refridgerator. However, try one of those swiffer duster doodads that you use for dusting. *Maybe* they might have something to fit in that teeny spot. And double check the coils in the back as well.
When my husband was a teen his friend blew an airhorn in his left ear, while they were at a hs football game. Now he's partially deaf in that ear. It was just a regular sports air horn. Also there are limits for how much cheese and butter we can get at our CA albertsons. Usually only 2 or 4 per household =(
My mother when she was speaking to our family- had 2 dogs. One would scratch the door to come in. She “brilliantly” bought an air horn to dissuade him and discharged it INSIDE with my young children in the room! Their ears rang for HOURS and their heads hurt. I told her to NEVER EVER do anything like that again or we won’t come over. Of course she got mad- at me, lol

I will prefise this with I know nothing about fibromyalga. I have had pain. My mother in law had shoulder replacement and a pain patch and later pain cream was wonderful for her. I just found out that both are not lucrative for the insurance industry. Hope this helps.

Saving those plastic bags is a good idea. We haven’t had those for years in Connecticut. We bring our own bags to shop. Only 3mm thickness is allowed at store. We can buy reuseable bags at the store. Christmas Trees were $80.00 each this year. I can see why many were left over.
I have a fridge 12 month old washing machine that is 8 years old in storage for 12 months And gone through 3 tv these flat screen don’t last So got a second hand one for $25 Australia And had to buy a longer cord for $14 I like the old tv some people have there’s for 25 years I take horse radish tablets for mucus
I wonder if the refrigerator has a bad module that controls the fan? Not sure if that is a thing on fridges but they seem to be in a lot of things these days.
my daughter has been thrifting all month and the deals are never ending, I find you have to keep checking in as some things go as they are putting the items on the shelf, we did the usual no gift giving but experiences during the year, theater tickets, weekend away trips etc. Merry Christmas, glad the new channel is doing well, made your whipped cream and chocolate recipe and everyone loved it, ( a bit expensive as whipped cream here is $6 but for a christmas treat ).

The refrigerator dust probably accumulated faster if you were doing any remodeling in the home. I know you guys just finished that remodeling project. But we do remodeling for a living and you'd be surprised how much dust gets accumulated. Even from somewhere else in the home. A lot of brand new homes in developments often get so much dust and their HVAC systems go out faster if they are the first homes built and lived in during a development phase. Because the dust from all of the other homes being built and Doug gets in the air and into their homes.
I'm so happy for you Tawra that you are exploring new methods for treating the fibro and that it's helping! The powers that be have been dancing around the cause with no consensus for a long time leaving sufferers floundering for anything that might give them even some small relief. On behalf of one of my family members I will be paying attention to your situation and perhaps explore some novel avenues of treatment for her as well.
Poor animals. One of those scary things people never anticipate when fires rage. My migraines turned out to be an IgG allergy to fish. I tested positive to so many fishes that someone from the testing company called and advised me to never eat any fish. When I stopped eating all of them, headaches left. If I make a mistake, like not reading lables, the migraines are right back. I miss fish, but I do not miss the migraines. Good luck with all you are trying. Oldest son was in the hospital before Christmas made it home for Christmas though. However, now the rest of the family is sick. My youngest son was here from Texas and he’s sick also. I feel sorry for him having to fly home tomorrow. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

I thought of you when I was stockpiling after Christmas!! Got large bags of name brand mini candy bars for $1-2 at aldi and little debbie Christmas trees for $.79/box. My kids were thrilled. Also got some mechanical toothbrushes for $4.

Last week Kroger had BOGO on Perdue chicken breasts so we bought 4 packages. All 4 yielded 13 pounds of meat in 20 individual breasts. A couple were small, but most were large enough to split in two so I thought that was pretty good. I am trying hard to only buy what is on sale in a given week so I look over the ads pretty carefully. I am a Thrive Life consultant so we also have lots of freeze dried food too. My husband has Alpha Gal disease so poultry and seafood are our main proteins. I make my own soft butter with butter and avocado oil.
I’m so happy for you that the treatments are helping. Has your mom tried the treatments? Also, I wanted to let you know I appreciate all of your get prepared videos. My husband is retired military so we are pretty prepared but the reminders are good if we missed something. I bring that up because my neighborhood just had an incident where a house being built some how got the water and sewer lines crossed and now the water for the whole neighborhood is messed up. They have been flushing the water for 2 days and testing it so hopefully it will be better soon. This made my dog very sick and couldn’t figure out what happened. Now we know. He drinks tap water. We drink filtered water from fridge. Good thing we have water in jugs and bottled for drinking and cooking. You never know when something crazy will happen 🤪
I am going to tell my daughter about this. She has been fighting cf and fibro since she was 12 or younger and now is thirty.

A stainless steel pan making noise while heating is usually normal and happens because of the different thermal expansion rates of the metals in its construction, causing slight vibrations and clicking sounds as the pan heats up and cools down; this is especially noticeable when the pan has multiple layers of different metals like aluminum and stainless steel, and is not a sign of damage unless the noise is very loud or accompanied by other issues like warping.

In my area when butter goes on sale there is always a limit of 2 and we live 25 minutes from the store! It’s so frustrating. The best deals always have a limit!

I remember that I read in the cleaning instructions for my Allclad pots, to not soak in water until pan cools down so it doesn’t warp. It should be ok to use still.
For the ink, use a Mr. clean eraser. Along with the alcohol.
The refrigerators coils can really cause a problem--prob need to do it (the coils, etc.) about at least every 6 wks or so--also we were told to pull it (the refrig) out from the wall and vacuum the floor underneath as well as possible. Then there is a panel on the back side to unscrew and vacuum out that part, and around the outlet where you plug in also. It can really damage your fridge if you don't do it regularly as we found out.

Fry a small test area of marker stain & with dry erase marker go over the stain and wipe away. On a dry erase board of removed perm marker.

When my husband was a teen his friend blew an airhorn in his left ear, while they were at a hs football game. Now he's partially deaf in that ear. It was just a regular sports air horn.
Also there are limits for how much cheese and butter we can get at our CA albertsons. Usually only 2 or 4 per household =(
My mother when she was speaking to our family- had 2 dogs. One would scratch the door to come in. She “brilliantly” bought an air horn to dissuade him and discharged it INSIDE with my young children in the room! Their ears rang for HOURS and their heads hurt. I told her to NEVER EVER do anything like that again or we won’t come over. Of course she got mad- at me, lol

I will prefise this with I know nothing about fibromyalga. I have had pain. My mother in law had shoulder replacement and a pain patch and later pain cream was wonderful for her. I just found out that both are not lucrative for the insurance industry. Hope this helps.

Saving those plastic bags is a good idea. We haven’t had those for years in Connecticut. We bring our own bags to shop. Only 3mm thickness is allowed at store. We can buy reuseable bags at the store. Christmas Trees were $80.00 each this year. I can see why many were left over.

my daughter has been thrifting all month and the deals are never ending, I find you have to keep checking in as some things go as they are putting the items on the shelf, we did the usual no gift giving but experiences during the year, theater tickets, weekend away trips etc. Merry Christmas, glad the new channel is doing well, made your whipped cream and chocolate recipe and everyone loved it, ( a bit expensive as whipped cream here is $6 but for a christmas treat ).

The refrigerator dust probably accumulated faster if you were doing any remodeling in the home. I know you guys just finished that remodeling project. But we do remodeling for a living and you'd be surprised how much dust gets accumulated. Even from somewhere else in the home. A lot of brand new homes in developments often get so much dust and their HVAC systems go out faster if they are the first homes built and lived in during a development phase. Because the dust from all of the other homes being built and Doug gets in the air and into their homes.
I'm so happy for you Tawra that you are exploring new methods for treating the fibro and that it's helping! The powers that be have been dancing around the cause with no consensus for a long time leaving sufferers floundering for anything that might give them even some small relief. On behalf of one of my family members I will be paying attention to your situation and perhaps explore some novel avenues of treatment for her as well.

My migraines turned out to be an IgG allergy to fish. I tested positive to so many fishes that someone from the testing company called and advised me to never eat any fish. When I stopped eating all of them, headaches left. If I make a mistake, like not reading lables, the migraines are right back. I miss fish, but I do not miss the migraines. Good luck with all you are trying.

Oldest son was in the hospital before Christmas made it home for Christmas though. However, now the rest of the family is sick. My youngest son was here from Texas and he’s sick also. I feel sorry for him having to fly home tomorrow. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
