(3:45) the fact that some people criticise your pronunciation and pretend you to be immediately good when you’re learning a new language - i just can’t believe that people do this. i’ve spoken italian my whole life, i know romanian, i’ve learned english and french at school and i’ve decided to learn new languages, because the idea of it excites me so much. thank you for all your videos and tips, you’re inspiring me so much and everything you say and try to teach helps me a lot. keep going and don’t be afraid to try and experience, negative comments are only jealous people that wish they could be as good as you💘 anyway, after watching the whole video, i allow myself to tell you that you’re doing really great. you aced all the particular sounds, such as “gli”, “chi”, “ghi”. if i can, i would suggest you to pay attention to the double letter words: remember to write them, because some words literally change their meaning with or without double letters (i know it may be some kind of typing mistake, so don’t worry hahah, i’m just warning). overall you’re doing great, keep working on it, results are noticeable!

Wow I can't believe you got hate on that awesome video. I'm honestly shocked! You did such an amazing job with it. As someone who is living in another country and not speaking my native language 90% of the time, I know how self conscious you can be when speaking a different language. When I first came to the US, I was scared to speak to be honest because I didn't have enough practice speaking and was afraid that my pronunciation would be be bad and people won't understand me. On a separate note, I'm excited to see where your channel goes! And that's such a great idea to do vlogs in Italian in order to practice 💞

Love that you'll be speaking more about language learning! I've been very lazily learning Italian & want to put more effort into it - before lockdown I was planning on taking actual classes as I can't currently hold even a basic conversation (but weirdly know how to pronounce spoon 🤷♀️) as I felt I could do with something more structured... so any tips to help during lockdown would be very welcome 😊

Smart video idea! I hear practicing the most difficult words is a great way to increase your overall pronunciation in a language. I’m studying Russian but I still enjoy following other people’s language journeys. I loved your 1st video and I’m glad you made another. There are a lot of “Study with me” videos out there and you could do a “Day in the life type” video where you can show us your day, how you study as well as the rest of your day with working, productivity, etc. THAT may be a way to incorporate language learning with all the other areas you want your channel to convey! As an Italian i expected to know all the words in the video but I had to search a couple on the internet, I never expected to learn my first language from an English native speaker 😂
You pronunciation is great! To take it to another level, really distinguish the difference between double consonants and single. For example, you said ARABBIATTO emphasising a double T. Italians will still understand of course, but that fine tune will skyrocket you :) coraggio!

I had just recently watched a French film which inspired me to start practicing my French again. Once I get comfortable with it, I'm moving on to my mother-tongue: Italian....🤪scary, because all I know is simple phrases that I learned from my grandparents.
The word 'gli/gne' (if I remember correctly) I will never be able to pronounce properly. An Ever ongoing struggle 😂 Brilliant video! Keep up the amazing work!
Hi Shea, Your Italian pronunciation is really okay. You know what, I think Italians like to hear that slight English accent when you speak their language. With regard to people’s meanness ; there are so many angry hate-filled individuals out there who are addicted to insulting and hurting others. They just can’t get through the day without an offensive remark. I think their cheap little comments say a lot about them. Concerning making mistakes I always tell my high school students that it is natural to make mistakes and not to worry about them. I say to them, “ It’s part of the language learning process. We learn from our mistakes”. Finally, I learnt a new Italian word during your video, but perhaps it is safer to avoid it. I will ask my colleagues at school.
I really loved the first video about some tips to learn italian, i' m actually doing them ❣️🌺. Just to let you know.. I'm mexican and it's still complicated to pronunciate some words. I made the same mistake when i was saying my age. Lol 😂 things happen! 😆 Keep It Up!

Hey! The mistake of mispronouncing anni is very common, even I've heard some Italians doing it. I speak Italian and your pronunciation is pretty good! Keep it going :)
