- World Skateboarding Tour Dubai 2024 Street Finals
The WST Dubai Street 2024 event came to a close amidst an unexpected 24-hour storm in the UAE, altering the schedule for the Semifinals. However, the swift organization allowed for a seamless transition, providing ample time for the Semifinals to proceed. The downtime proved beneficial for skateboarders, allowing them to rest and prepare for the Finals.
Japanese skaters dominated the Men's division, with Sora Shirai leading the pack and getting third place. Despite his strong performance, Kairi Netsuke's remarkable run secured him the top spot.
In the Women's division, Japanese skaters continued their dominance, with newcomers like Ibuki Matsumoto making impressive runs. However, it was Liz Akama who clinched victory with a stellar performance. Joining her on the podium were Rayssa Leal and Chloe Covell.
The event concluded with a fantastic display of talent, showcasing the global skateboarding community's prowess. Special thanks to our hosts Arada for their hospitality throughout the event.
