Jesus that Swordsoul player was a prime example of playing on autopilot. No thought, no read, only summon Baronne and Grandmaster pass.
Their refusal to read PEP was astonishing. Like, I get that it’s not easy for Swordsoul to out unless they have Kaijus, but they could have crashed something to lower their LP or AT LEAST NOT TARGET THE UNAFFECTED MONSTER TEN TIMES!

They even added the most efficient out back with Adhara, Shthana. They only needed to crash the Monk and click the same buttons they would have otherwise clicked.

The first clip was just absolutely peak cinema. I thought the burn player was cooked the entire time, but then I was goddamn blindsided by the effect of Fire Cracker that no one read, because duels in this format ended before your next draw anyways. 10/10, deserves an Emmy.
Charmer can have interactive play without floodgates. This is a miracle.

So for anyone confused at 6:39. FIL during damage calc pays 2k to gain 3k atk. Because of UE's effect, Lily's Original attack was 2400, 5400 through its effect then DorN makes it 10800
but utopia double already represented otk by itself, they did not need to do that

Fun fact: that Charmer deck is basically just what Charmers are now. It's just a mishmash of about 3-5 different engines to make something that somehow works
PeP is always funny to me. Because I remember this person doing a crazy combo to get it out and were like: get over my big monster.
me who had only really played solo mode until that point had the gemknight deck and just burned them down cause their life points were already so low.

PeP is the bane of master duel players, because it actually requires them to use critical thinking skills to out.
You'd think after the fourth unsuccessful attempt to out a Towers, one would realize that it is unaffected by other cards' effects. But yugioh players find a way.

As a Traptrix lover, they wasted Sera's set effect on Holeutea when they already had one in hand. They could have grabbed literally anything else.
Sure Holeutea is a reliable way to trigger Sera but why not save its OPT effect for summoning back Rafflesia or Myrmeleo?
Not to mention using Floodgate on the Ash when you know they have Ohime and Ceremony in hand (thanks to Prep and Ohime's search) with Rondo in grave.

I was thinking that the duel was a dud at first, but I knew it was gonna be one of the games of all time when they popped the passive rondo
Could've Pingu-ed into Arachnocampa before going into raff too.
Pingu doesn't interact directly, but she's a hilarious (and often unexpected) response to anyone that needs to bury monsters since---unlike allomerus--you don't have to be the one sending your opponent's cards to the Gy/banish

Gold Pride PUNK my favorite deck. I have played every PUNK variation i can find or think of and this might be my favorite. I am clearly entertained by bright colors.

You can tell that they just press yes to anything that gets rid of the bigger monster because they only deal with decks that get flattened by both engines.
I have seen that charmers deck before and have the recipe as well, or at least a variation of it.
I don't recommend building it since its like 80% URs, but it's one of the most creative and fun decks I've seen in a while.

One thing I also run is ariseheart for the kashtira matchup, it's pretty much a guaranteed win every time. And yeah, triple thrust is pretty much mandatory, since it unlocks every part of your deck by itself
that PEP replay was funny, i had that kind of duel and me as the opposite, and the way to out the PEP is dimensional barrier call synchro, and the opponent scooped KEKW
Last deck is so nice to see. Yoink decks are always fun! I personally use the same cards except it’s adventure instead of Mikanko because illegal knight Hijinx are always funny, that and recycling kaijus with dracoback is nice

@@cynderrosaliavods8538 yes, but, how many times a flower cardian player ended up matched against a full mill deck like mayakashi bone tower? That's the point, it's such a specific match up that I don't think it happened again, unless specifically planned out?

Old card tax. Anime tax too I'm pretty sure. Just like why Millenium Shield is an SR even though its just a vanilla 3k defense wall. Which you can find in Labyrinth Wall or Neo Aqua Madoor for N rarity.
