George Carlin is one of the most ignorant people I ever saw. You can't pick and choose about the religion topic and call it knowledge. Why would God need to show Himself to us while we living on earth? Then what faith is for??? Why would God get rid of all evil now?? earth is not Heaven. By the time is coming when good and evil will be separated forever. You want a place with no evil? Follow with Jesus to Heaven. Do you want proves that God exists? Me and billions other people experienced supernatural experiences (I saw a real demon in a haunted house, later I had a Holy Spirit touching me, I saw a Heaven for 2 seconds while I was sitting on my bed, there's billions people around the globe that saw Heaven and Hell, doctors know that their patients experience supernatural experiences, science today says that there's Devine being behind our inteligent design etc). So George Carlin was developed backwards. And for those that don't know what believe is, I'll tell you what it is: believe is having 99% proves that God exists. Its not 100% yet because we didn't met God face to face, but we see His finger prints all over this laboratory called universe. I pray for George Carlin to be in Heaven even though his in Hell right now and will not be in Heaven, but just in case, my prayer will help. And one more thing: God made Hell for devil and his angels, not for humans. God is kind enough to offer to us Heaven, to live with Him FOREVER. Why Hell exists and demons? Because everything God creates can't die; God creates life, not death. Amen?

Much respect to Frank for calling the best ever social commentator, Mr. Carlin. The simple answer for any religion is that most humans need hope. I'm an atheist that is fine with that instinctual need of others. Money hungry organized religion is a major pet peeve though. A U2 song has a lyric that states, "My God is NOT short of cash, mister."
Religion in itself is not harmful, it's when people get in power who try and take advantage of others that is harmful. I am anti religion but to say it cant be helpful is extremely shortsighted

Carlin makes you think and, that’s his genius. I’m not a religious person but, I would never disrespect anyone who is. If having faith in whatever form comforts you, more power to you!
I first heard this set 12 years ago, and I'm only just now imagining the idea that the "plus I'm blind" part was a subtle call back to him worshipping the Sun. Thanks for that new (probablu inaccurate, but fun to imagine) perspective :)
L. Ron Hubbard is the author you are thinking of. He wrote Battlefield Earth, and a few others that I can't remember and don't want to look up this second. He was also a Naval officer.
Mr. Carlin has always played to the ignorance that ist prevalent in "most" people. His most often inaccurate generalities of Social Study ist always quite funny incorrect narrative, but ist what "most" people want to hear that agrees with their own subconscious need to blame others for their own lack of achievement. Sadly quite many actually believe most everything Carlin says ist actually a "literal" truth...They surely are NOT in any general sense. However this comedy skid ist one of the fewer times he ist most probably correct. RIP Mr. Carlin, many already miss your ability to cause people to think, even if most of the time your comedy ist not exactly correct representation of "literal" facts.

Many religious people cant accept that once our life ends here we won't ever exist again and they don't want to even begin to accept it. To them there is more comfort believing" I don't know" and allowing the version they would like to be true.
@Christopher Bortle you are making up an answer to try and answer why. Science has made a lot of progress and continues to explain the how of planets, life, moons, stars viruses, disease, etc. There very well be no why but making up an answer is not it.
Legit thoughtful insight at the end of this. I respect you guys for thinking about it openly.
how big was that blunt y’all smoked? 😂 y’all look high as hell, and I love it
i need some of that shit lmaoo
srsly you have the best reactions of all, so chill, so funny, so good
He NEEEEDS MONEY!!! 😂💀💀
I have been a fan since you guys started. I watch you when I need a great laugh and you always come through ❤️
Love this bit- if you haven’t done it already, you should follow this up with his “The Ten Commandments”.
The Ten Commandments are in this one.
Imagine what Carlin would be saying if he was still here today. I miss Carlin. So glad I had the opportunity to see him live a couple of times.
"This guy would have been out long ago" -Carlin haha lol
Good to see you gentleman still chilling even years thru , many props , y'all have seen some good shit too , keep it rollin ! Good luck!
My ex used to talk in her sleep.
These dudes make videos. RESPECT 👏👏👏
Real shit...you guys are the shit! In these covid times I look for someone or someone's to share and relate to...among all these fuckboys playing politically correct and attention games...y'all two are real...raw... I appreciate that. I feel like I'm chilling wit the homies watching some shit and having fun...relating...or not...but it's genuine! I only been on for about a week, watch maaaad videos of yours, and can honestly say I appreciate you guys. Truly. It's refreshing....to say the least. So many play that camera game, and the gotta stay PC bullshit instead of being themselves with no shame...you are the only ones who I feel comfortable "chilling" wit, without fast forwarding through pauses because they need attention...just genuinely watching like noone is watching...that's real. Being quarantined, or not, you have brought me some joy...a lot actually. I'm down with y'all to the fullest. Mad luv and respect....and more importantly, thanks! I mean that. Depression fades in the company of realists. Thank you for being You! Respect
George Carlin was the first comedian I really saw. He is so animated!! I had a hard time looking at you two react bc his face is just so funny!
I've found two more dudes I wanna vibe with
Your reaction made me subscribe. You took what you heard, despite your own personal beliefs, and you analyzed it. Went a little deeper. Bad ass.
“Religion is helpful”
You’re so cute and Naive if you genuinely believe that
I can think of large swaths of people who would vehemently disagree with the idea that religion is helpful lol
Religion in itself is not harmful, it's when people get in power who try and take advantage of others that is harmful.
I am anti religion but to say it cant be helpful is extremely shortsighted
If you’re the upper classes in a society it is useful. Keeps everyone arguing and stupid for you.
Love, love, love George Carlin. Happy to watch people discovering him as I did recently.
G Carlin at the Washington Press Corp...Rips Politician talk..hilarious
Years ago I was telling people at a party that the only religion that makes sense is worshipping the sun, and how I was going to start a sun worshipping cult. Someone told me that was a Carlin bit, forgot about this until now. 🤣
i have this whole album memorized from when i was a teenager
Loved it, "Should be thanking the doctors." Well said, respect my brother....
“Good night! Joe Bless You!” 💀
It was so funny seeing these guys zone out. You could tell they were hearing something they didn’t particularly like. Hilarious
How about trying something really old school. Like the Bob Newheart bits "defusing a bomb" or "the introduction of tobacco"
His commentary will still ring true in 100 years. If we haven’t wiped each other out by then.
You should watch the movie "Life of Brian", from Monthy Phyton, it´s a funny way to look how Chritianity could have come about... Love from Portugal! Love your reactions videos!
This two even still had a hungover had a good reaction
Carlin makes you think and, that’s his genius. I’m not a religious person but, I would never disrespect anyone who is. If having faith in whatever form comforts you, more power to you!
Any time you post Carlin I'm all over it. As much a philosopher as comedian. It's awesome he's so intellectually funny. More Carlin please.
Check out Saving the Planet dudes!! That's one of his classics
George Carling - You have no rights
- Saving the planet
Two stand ups you should definitely see guys, great reacts as always.
"We are the universe experiencing itself."
Excellent! Literally just that!
This video was great from the jump. Love these guys.
Clicked on this faster than our professor's ZOOM links 😂
Facts
(In my best Ralph Wiggum voice)
"Your video made me sleepy in a good way."
BTW, His deconstruction of the 10 commandments is just brilliant.
I first heard this set 12 years ago, and I'm only just now imagining the idea that the "plus I'm blind" part was a subtle call back to him worshipping the Sun. Thanks for that new (probablu inaccurate, but fun to imagine) perspective :)
This is why carlin is a goat. He makes you laugh, then makes you think
Carlin was a philosopher first and foremost and then a comedian. RIP George
Actually he wanted to be an actor first and foremost.
Comedian first
L. Ron Hubbard is the author you are thinking of. He wrote Battlefield Earth, and a few others that I can't remember and don't want to look up this second. He was also a Naval officer.
RIP GEORGE CARLIN!
You guys rock! Great content. Please don't stop what you do.
React to George Carlin - The Ten Commandments
This is your best episode so far! Great intro you guys are funny for sure
Mr. Carlin has always played to the ignorance that ist prevalent in "most" people. His
most often inaccurate generalities of Social Study ist always quite funny incorrect narrative,
but ist what "most" people want to hear that agrees with their own subconscious need to
blame others for their own lack of achievement. Sadly quite many actually believe most
everything Carlin says ist actually a "literal" truth...They surely are NOT in any general sense.
However this comedy skid ist one of the fewer times he ist most probably correct.
RIP Mr. Carlin, many already miss your ability to cause people to think, even if most of the
time your comedy ist not exactly correct representation of "literal" facts.
One of the goats, he’s more of a ranting comedian rather than your typical punchline comedian
just remember u dont need a middle man to have a relationship is god
But if you actually hear a voice you might need a psychiatrist
@@andrew348 For those who believe, no proof is necessary, for those who don't, no proof is enough.
That's what they don't understand. The Church is in your heart. So if your Church is full of hate, so it will never know the Kingdom of Heaven...
@@fatooshtkd its good to believe but not be devoted. its good to believe in him for morality, helping others & all around good person, but shouldn't be devoted to were u depend on him, or like those extremist who kill in the name of God or try to take actions in there own hands, or try to force people into ur beliefs like many of them do.
Carlin used to say he was a writer that performs his material. He really enjoyed writing down his observations. He is definitely one of the greats.
He is so missed ❤
"whats the use of being god if every rundown schmuck with a 2 dollar prayer book can come along and fuck up your plan" was so fucking funny😂😂
Got into an argument with my girlfriend over this topic last night, I have to watch this now
no shit, my kid walks in and asks, "are they just sleepy?" Lost it.
