I thought Biden did a pretty good job responding with reason where Trump appealed to emotion and fear. It's unfortunate that they're our only options though.

@@asmrwellrest Agree to disagree. Trump was all pessimism about the country and I think Biden did a good job calling him out for it. He certainly wasn't as emphatic, but Biden was at least consistently optimistic about the country where Trump said both, "we've become a third world country," and, "we're the strongest nation in the world," whenever the point suited his argument.
I think the context was under Biden’s leadership we’ve become a worse nation but Trump was exaggerating to make Biden look bad but they both do that. I certainly don’t think this debate helped Biden. At most it didn’t change most people’s view of him
