Thank a lot for the tutorial. Please ma how do i achieve sleeve using ankara because after getting the measurements and allowance, i have like 2" left which is not up to the desired sleeve length. What should i do.

If you are working with Ankara and you need a longer sleeve, then you have to cut the sleeve differently and attach because Ankara has a length of 45 and width of about 23 or 25 on fold, so that won’t be enough.

Apologies for the late response. I didn't show that because you can use any method you normally use to make a full dress to achieve the first part and then apply the method I used in this video for it. But I will be uploading a free hand cutting of this outfit in a week or 2.... That will probably make it easier for you.

If I'm cutting anything above 45" length, I know I will use more fabric, I just flip and cut it on the length part( like I fold on the 6 yards part not the 45" part) it will consume more fabric because then you may end up using 4 yards . At the center back where it was also onfold, it won't be onfold but rather you will be adding an extra 1" for zip allowance and open it up to be able to add your zip.....
