QBs make WRs not the other way around. Daniel Jones has a chance to make Malik look bad and give a shaky start to his career. Look at Sauce Gardner for an example. Giants gave up their chance of actually building something this year. Will have to wait till next year and in hopes that Malik doesn't turn into a drama queen with how hes acted in his past.
@@DavidSungsEVILROBOT They most definitely gave up On DJ. They just have to deal with him because they messed up and paid him. They need to sell him high somehow and they think Malik will make him look better which is very delusional. You'll see.

We had a winner with Barkley and look where that got us. Trading down was the play. So many needs and this was kinda like the cart before the horse. With amt of talented receivers could have got one in the 3rd round. Felt like this was a missed opportunity.
I've been saying it.. Don't sleep on the Giants.. They have the weapons yet, protecting the Q.B. is a must.. Noise shall be made.. L..G.G.!!!!! Just subscribed keep up the good work....
So stoked that we got Nabers. A #1 WR was our biggest need & we got a dawg. Now our wide receiver corps consists of Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson & Jalin Hyatt that is the talented young core. That is an impressive group that is deep & balanced with a potent mix of diverse skill sets.
Last year Wan’Dale made a leap forwarf after flashing in his injury shortened rookie season where he flashed what he can do. Same with Jalin Hyatt. Hyatt was eased in slowly but he flashed game breaking abilities & proved that he isn’t just a one trick pony. He isn’t just a speed demon, but can run good routes & has dependable hands. If Hyatt & Wan’dale level up & Nabers plays to his potential along with Mr Steady #2 Darius Slayton doing his thing, that foursome could make our offense dangerous. Plus at TE we have do it all Daniel Bellinger & hopefully Darren Waller but we drafted freaky Penn St TE Theo Johnson.
Also new 5th Round pick Tyrone Tracy Jr is a former receiver turned into a RB who could be a Swiss Army knife secret weapon for us. We’re in good shape with a much improved Oline. Can’t wait for the season. Daniel Jones is being given keys to a new Ferrari & hopefully he stays healthy to have a breakout season in 2024.
Honestly hyatt has incredible potential that we just underutilized. He can absolutely be a 1000yd plus guy if we gets good treatment.
@@ultragear207 I agree He was a bit raw so I think they ease him in slowly Wan’Dale took a leap last year & will make another big leap Hyatt can take a next level leap as well He showed that he can run good routes too 4th Round pick TE Theo Johnson has a lot of potential to be a dynamic pass catching tight end RB Devin Singletary is a solid back he could pair with 5th Rd RB Tyrone Tracy Jr to make a dynamic duo Tracy could be a do-it-all type Swiss Army knife offensive weapon We have a lot of weapons on offense now so this offense can be really potent & dangerous I mean look at the top 4 receivers: Nabers, Slayton, Wan’Dale & Hyatt. That’s a pretty potent group who have all then potential in the world to be great. Can’t wait for the season
I just hope and pray DJ is healthy and can get sometime to throw the ball. The WR depth looks great and FAST. So even if the o line can give him a second or 2 to make the proper read then we gonna be back in the playoffs. Yes I agree DJ isn't the best qb but I believe in this TEAM. The defense looks dam good! Even special teams looks good too. I hope this could be the year. But everyone must play thier part!!! Go BIG BLUE let's kick some cowboy ass
The Giants drafted the 2 Biletnikoff Award Finalists, Hyatt winning the award in 2022. You can never go wrong with an LSU WR in the 1st round. But most of Nabers's plays, like Hyatt's, came from the slot.
Malik nabers at 6 such a steal. Yes even at 6… best player in the draft an absolute hard cutting big body bruiser wr who’s shifty and never too flashy until he gets that ball into the end zone. And with 4.3 speed. automatic 1000 yard season even with Dan jones. he’s gonna be huge in New York.

Giants were smart to think long-term on QB .. it was out of reach. Perform, deliver or else. All the experts said we needed a WR1 and I’ve been harping the OL ... okay, so now we got one & the OL was beefed; great!
Now it’s back to “Perform, Deliver or Else.”
This is great, but the issue is with the Giants O line. D Jones isn’t going to have time to go through his progression and the receivers won’t have time to develop their routes.

Sounds nice on paper until one realizes it will be Daniel Jones trying to get him the ball.
The struggles were not necessarily the result of a lack of high-end talent in the receivers, but a QB with a very limited skill-set, frazzled when the offensive line pass coverage broke-down.

Hyatt was torching some of the best corners too don't forget and wandel is a hidden gem his quickness and shifftyness is unbelievable with nabors they gonna have the quickest WR in the league. Biggest concern is TE and QB if waller stays he's easily a top 5 TE
Theo Johnson is also nice ash. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of the best te’s in the draft
Every nfl team has had shitty seasons. But some of the worst teams have the best fans! 💯 these guys will bounce back 💪
Dang...Daniels misses a lot of open receivers...might not make it in the League
That had been my take away from so many of these videos. Daniel’s isn’t as good of a passer as many made him out to be
I like the kid. I also liked Barley. But the pick should have been Quinton Nelson. I liked Daniel Jones but they could have picked Allen at #6(who had 10.5 sack rookie year) and packed Jone in the 3rd round. The correct move was to trade down and get more picks, even if they didn't get quite the haul they wanted they coud have gotten 2 really top notch defenders. As it turns out probably could have gotten 2 of the top 3 db's. Oh well another missed opportunity.

Kinda disappointed, they didn't take a QB, in Rd. #1, JJ McCarthy was still on the board, especially, after the GM went to see him, had a private work out and even; took him out; to dinner and the owner; gave him; his blessing, after all that, sounded; like; a no-brainer.

So happy we picked him instead of desperation reaching for a qb. I have alot of confidence in Joe Shane now. I think he is a quick learner. Made big mistakes at first but now he gets it
Nice video , Malik has awesome talent. My choice as a Giant fan was Odunze but what do I know. Excited for the upcoming season. With healthy QB`s I think we can win 10 games.

I’ve never been a fan of the “weapons” argument. With poor offensive line play, a vanilla quarterback and a weak pass rush, fancy weapons catching the ball won’t make the difference.
It goes:
1) GM/coach duo
2) Quarterback
3) Offensive line
4) Pass rush
THEN weapons.

Qbs don’t make wrs examples TO Hopkins Daniel never had a line which they put that money up so I expect this opens up there playbook I hope it was worth saquon cause if not we want bill!
Jones is not a bad QB. He is an atrocious and historically bad QB. His two TD passes last year was the lowest TDs to pass attempts in over 70 years. The Giants won 1 game in his 6 starts and lost 40-0, 31-13, 30-12 and 24-3 in 4 of his starts. Nabers will have zero impact until No TD Jones is replaced .

I have to remind myself of the fact that Daniel Jones does throw a nice deep ball when he has time. That primetime game vs the Commanders when DJ put the ball right in Slaytons hands and he dropped the tuddy, Malik ain't doing that. Man I wish we had the money to sign FA DJ Chark as a solid option for us at WR2! Hyatt will eat more as a WR3 right now unless he's putting on weight, no pun intended. I look at the WR room like this, if we have 2 dogs playing Edge now, then hopefully we can get 2 dogs playing WR soon. Id say that signing Odell is another option. Don't hate me for saying that, I just want us to win.

the giants have used a lot of draft capital in recent years trying to fix oline.. Evan neal, andrew thomas, etc. We got some decent free agents too. I was happy to us go else where with the pick.

Picking Malik Nabers was the best move for the Giants quarterbacks. Adding him to Slayton, Hyatt and Robinson looks like a pretty dangerous receiving group.
