My number one pet peeve for someone who reviews bags, is you never get to see what it looks on your body. Try it on man! I always check out your channel cause I want to see the bags and how they fit, but then I get disappointed cause you never try them on..
I haven’t figured out a good way to do that yet (I know, just put it on…but where to shoot it, how to make it look professional, etc.). It took me 100 videos to get the overhead camera….I promise I will work on it - and I promise I hear your feedback.
I bought the multicam 24 liter a while back and immediately had that same cramped feeling. I mulled it over for a few days and ended up returning it. So I definitely agree about that. It seems like the extra 2 liters are just in the admin section. I'd be curious to know how some packing cubes loaded out and stuck inside fit and what room was left. But yea. The aer travel 3 small (28L) feels like enormously bigger than this with only 2 extra liters. It's interesting. Great video as always!
Can you do reviews on the alpaka shift pack v2 and the alpaka elements travel backpack. I love the slim form factor, but am concerned about how much it holds. Thanks for the breakdown 👍
Great video I have the Aer City pack and I'm not in love with it so I'm on the hunt for something similar. The Aer top drop pocket bothers me on the Aer It dumps into the main compartment too much. I wish it was sewn in or just not in the way so much. Can't decide on which bag to get. Would you take this over this Aer City pack and do You think the build quality is better on this because the interior materials on the Aer feel super cheap to me.
I don’t think you’ll like this very much if you like the Aer a lot. This bag is very, very skinny. I’m about to do a review on the Defy Bucktown. You might want to check that one out. I’d also check out the bags from Alpha One Niner.
@@ThePerfectBagso you're right I actually did get this bag but I'm going to sell it for the CPL 24 I just watched her other video on that for the second take and it feels like it's like the perfect bag there's so many missed opportunities on this bag with no side handle two water bottle pockets like who needs that and it's so thin you can barely get your hand in there to reach your pouches That's why you're a professional!!! Appreciate the reviews keep up the awesome work.
In your opinion, what size does the bag feel like to you packed out if 26l seems small? Looking to get this bag and I prefer a smaller bag, this might be perfect. Thanks
I have their max tech case and yea, it’s much smaller compared to other kinds of “max” products. I also have their cable case and really dislike it. Its exterior is way big compared to what it can hold internally. It has a similar “popping” compartment, but it is, and feels, way too small. I feel like this bag has a similar feeling, just too tight.
I wont go minimalist on back packs my smallest one is 32 liters going minimzlist works better with my slings but not less than 4 liters smaller than that and its a pouch.
Great video, I feel closer to finally choosing a backpack for my quick work commutes when I do need to take my laptop with me. However, I think a few of the packs on your wall look awesome, what are the 3 white backpacks behind you to your left?
Tough to pick one for you without more info - but in a vacuum between those two bags I’d pick the Stem because of the back panel. I’d also consider the A19 Whitley and Aer City Pack in that same size range
Not too familiar with your channel, I admit, but I'm surprised that you went to lengths to talk about its seemingly illusory volume claim but you didn't think to do a loadout to see what it can actually hold.

I love the look of this but was worried 26L would be too large so I am actually glad it feels smaller than advertised.
I recently bought this, but I noticed there's no drain hole on each side pocket. If you get caught in the rain, water will build up inside.
Thanks for doing the X-Pac! Really helpful in my decision to order.
Nice job with the review. It’s a small bag. Feels less than a 26L.
Honest review Clint! It looks indeed not like 26L. But if you not buying it for the space it looks great. Nice materials.

@@ThePerfectBag I promise you, you'll look good and the bag won't make your butt look big
Ha!!!
They have a video on their website.
Pack Hacker has a video where Tom puts it on if you wanted to see what it looks like on him

Yeah - I agree - very interesting bag - and very attractive too. But tight.

Hey Brian! I’ll add them to the list!
@@ThePerfectBag Thanks 👍
I’m on the fence about this one vs the Able Carry Daily Plus.
The Able Carry is a nicer bag in my opinion between just those two
@@ThePerfectBag thanks for your input, I got the able carry and it’s lit

They have 4 different versions available on the website (colorways and materials).

Nice review! Can you tell us if the material is the VX42 being offered now, or the X50 that was offered previously?
This was VX42 one in this video.

This feels more like 20L bag. Very slim minimalist feel

The height of the bag is prob contributing to the 26L tag.
True!
Alittle Too. Slim
Really? You leave a power bank in an open loose pocket? You really trust people.
I do in general!
