This is a delightful piece which we rarely hear in concert or on classical radio broadcasts. Fine playing and by soloists and ensemble unfortunately unfamiliar to one who lives west of the Balkans. Thanks for posting and All the Best from a listener in Washington,DC

Mozart was a great Alchemist of the music These wonderful performance embodies the musical aesthetics of Mozart, who generated impression and comfort and pleasure and admiration
It is unfortunate that harp was just in its infancy when Mozart was alive. This is the only piece I believe that he composed for the harp. That was only because he was commissioned by an aristocrat, I believe a Duke, who was a very good flutist and wanted a piece to perform with his daughter who was a harpist. So beautiful, so rare, so Mozart.
Mozart wrote this concerto during his Paris journey, which was the most biographically important part of his life. It was his first time travelling without his controlling father. It introduced him to the best orchestra in Europe. He really fell in love for the first time on this trip, and experienced major heartbreak. He failed to land a good job anywhere, and was underpaid for the work he did. And while in Paris his mother died, causing a family crisis. He remained spirited through all of that. The letters he sent during his Paris journey are full of fart-jokes and other bathroom humor -- more so than was usual, even for Mozart. Somehow, amid all the bustle, heartache, trauma, fart-jokes, hard work and disappointment he managed to write this beautiful and poised concerto. He never received full pay for it.
Thank you for all these details. I was unaware of many of them. Anyway, this concerto is an absolute masterpiece! A pure joy to perform, as well as to listen to other performances. Best regards, dear friend!
The cameras are pretty screwed up like always. The long shots are super sharp, but the close ups are blurry. It didn’t start like this, however, some smart alecs decided to change the cameras set up, and there goes your super HD !!!
Sandro Lee, thanks for your comment. Obviously I don't like the camera either, but that's the only recording from the concert. The music and the performance are much more important to me.
The person who handled the camera must be punished. The mic exactly covers the face of Trichkova, and the orchestra was not ordered properly, there were problems finding the sharpness of the picture, not to mention the bad cuttings, and so on.
Pray for more peace and more Mozart. ❤️🙏❤️
Wow! I really loved this masterpiece. What a spectacular rendition. A very great performance that inspires my soul and body.
Mozart stole this piece of music from heaven when the angels were asleep
Merveilleux Mozart et merveilleuses harpistes , merci pour le partage
Mille mercis pour vos mots!
I love the flute and harp playing together. My daughter played harp for four years and it was a magical time.
Me too!
No one ever wrote a more beautiful Andantino, it's like falling into clouds.
Oh yes. Well described.

Mozart was allways ahead of his time and some other composers hated him, specially in Paris were he wrote this piece.

At 24.40 is there anything more beautiful than this? God had to been involved in this when it was written...
As Antonio Saleri is quoted in 'Amadeus': "That, that was Mozart!"
Bravo !!
Maravillosa
Sublime
