Hey frenzzz! If you want just details and some demos, then that happens in the first half which is around 25 minutes. After that, I do more demos with the brushes if you want to see them in action again. In the timestamps, those demos are indicated by “face brush demo” and “eye brush demo” Thank you all for watching!
p.s. The annual Kumano Fude Matsuri, or Brush Festival, is at the Autumn Equinox. It usually falls around September 22/23 and goes on for a week. Just in case anyone from the Fude Addicts Collective was interested in that sort of information.
I am so excited to see you collab w/Fude Beauty again, I learn so much about fude brush craftmanship through your videos, it really adds onto the experience and makes my brushes so much more special.
Your Fude knowledge and authority grows with every video you do 🥰🤓 I love your in-depth reviews, comparisons, demonstrations... so, so helpful and educational. I cannot wait to go back to Japan when it's safe!!!
Wow, this is an indepth veedeo...you took it there! 💯 Happy Sunday and thank you for rescuing us from the infinite sadness that is the end of WandaVision.
I mean, the final look you came up with the Dior palette and the brushes, holly molly, STUNNING! You genuinely looked like a porcelain doll, your skin looks so amazingly well blended, you cannot tell in any way where the products start and end, so pretty, Alicia, so pretty!
The "wizard of brushes", that's you, Ms. Alicia! I love your brush demos and yes, you definitely need to go to Japan. This was a fantastic demonstration! I know Fude Beauty must be proud to have you represent them so well. I am really into powder products, so my goal is to buy a really nice powder brush.
I so appreciate your in depth demos and descriptions of brushes!! I find it so difficult to interpret written descriptions of brushes to decide what brushes would work best for me without first seeing them in action.
She’s a natural born salesperson. She’s not even trying, but she finesses me out of my cash on a regular basis. And I keep voluntarily returning to the scene of the incident!
Would like to see you do a video on the currently most used makeup brushes, I know they are all your favorites would like to see what of all the brushes you own which are the most used!
Great in-depth veedeo! I enjoy your fude videos, so informative, and detailed. I own the Kyureido KK-01 and the KK02. I purchased a few years back. I've always wanted to try the eye brushes KK-03 and KK04 brush so I will definitely use your link to purchase.
The kiwami set looks very similar to Suqqu’s squirrel brushes lineup... Even the shape of the handles are similar 🤔 I wonder if Kyureido makes Suqqu’s brushes?
Thank you for taking me on this journey with you. I love my fude brushes and my collection is growing. I have researched Japanese calligraphy artistry and those brushes so I could better appreciate my collection. I recently acquired the Beautylish Akita brush( National dog for Japan ) because I own an Akita. I will send you a picture. Again thanks for sharing. Selected several here for the bucket list 😉
Congratulations on getting the Hachiko Akita brush. This past year I also started on my collection of Fude and when I saw this one come out I immediately thought of my sister so I bought it for her birthday. She loves dog’s of all kinds and this birthday was a big one. She said the porcelain handle was a work of art and is really loving the softness of the bristles. I saw and felt it before I sent it off to Tucson. Enjoy yours. K in NJ
Alicia, you're spelling it pretty correctly! You also can prolong the "e" sound because in Japanese when we have "ei" together we can pronounce just the "e" but a bit longer as if it was "KyurEEdo". About the emphasis, in Japanese all syllables are stressed, except in few cases when you have a double consonant like in the word "chotto" (which means many stuff but one of them is "a bit" or "a little"), the "tto" is pronounced a bit more stressed the "cho".
@@aliciaarcher Yes, definitely! I'd say that, when we pronounce the "ay" from "may" we have a little ~relaxation~ at the "y" sound (even tho theoretically there's no sound for the "y" in that word), the Japonese "ei" that I'm talking about is kinda stiff, it kinda stops in the beginning of the "a" of "ay" from "may", but doubles it if it was "maAy" without the "y" sound. But, you know? It's is definitely not wrong to pronounce the "ei" just the way you did, in fact it is pretty normal, but if you want to be a little more formal you can prolong the "ei" vocally as "ee". Japanese language has very interesting nuances in their phonetics when you want to be formal or to show more confidence in daily speaking. I think you're already doing great! =)
Here comes your Japanese frenzz 👋🏻 Your Japanese pronunciation is very good and understandable, so be confident ! Can’t wait to have you here in Japan.
I need you to compile a list of the best fude brushes.🙏🏽 I'm trying to build a collection of them so far I have only bought eyeshadow brushes but man there are so many options I don't know where to start.🤦🏽♀️
I try not to watch these for fear Alicia starts me on another road to temptation. I just pop in, like, and flee. She’s the person who started me on my eyeshadow journey, the very first being Pat McGrath 😝 😆 😂. Absolutely no need for me to start on collecting very expensive makeup brushes. It was hard enough to resist the beautiful flowered handled red ones from Beautylish a few years ago 😝
Oh I’m so excited to see you review these! I received an email on these and I’m really interested in the natural hair! Thanks so much! I might be back after watching with a question or two!
Okay, Alicia, you're busted. We know that whenever you're not making videos, teaching classes, baking cinnamon bunzzz, at Maddie's House or at Bae's, you sit in your room and brush your face a thousand times with beautiful fude!! Those brushes really are beautiful, the ebony and maroon copper ones - oh my gah. The grey that almost looks olive is so elegant and those brushes, although very reasonable, are beautiful too. Obviously, everyone needs that big powder brush. Packed with bristles but so much movement - whoa. I'm holding out for the foundation brush video before I place an order but I think I'll go have a look around...
Hey Alicia, I am from Brazil but I moved to Japan in December 2019, so obviously I haven't been able to visit as many places as I wish I would due to the outbreak of the pandemic. I have to rely on online shopping, so your videos are incredibly useful. I have just realized that Fude Beauty is based in Japan so I am planning to buy my next fude items from them - as I don't speak Japanese, this is a more user friendly option. I love your channel and I hope you can visit Japan soon! It is a wonderful country. 💋
@kinkysweat hey frennn! What an awesome video! Thank you! I just bought them all! I can't wait until we can travel internationally again and when that happens, guess where I'll be dragging the husband?!? Japan baby!!
Hi Alicia! I was on the livestream you just did checking audio and I was thanking you for wearing your hair the way you do because I get criticized for wearing my hair the same way. People say it's not an "adult" hairstyle which I find strange because this is how my hair grows out of my head and it's a ponytail 🥴 so thank you for showing a great example of not conforming to straight=better. Always looking stylish😎 But the comment was deleted after I said in the chat so I wanted to say sorry if my comment was rude or disrespectful. Not sure if you deleted it or someone else but I didn't want there to be any confusion. I just wanted to show love 💚
Hi frenzzz, new subscriber here. I need to say i have watched a frw of your vids now and i just love your voice and your personality you seem lile an amazing person and i really liked you right away from the very 1st video of yours i seen. So glad i found your channel. Its just so easy to listen to you talk about anything. Edit: i also wanted to tell you how beautiful you are.
Hi Alicia, I recently purchased the kyuiredo kiwami brushes from fudebeauty but I noticed there isn’t any kyureido logo or label on the handle. Is this expected or do you notice the same from the brushes you received from fudebeauty? This is different from what I saw online picture/ IG
There really is no comparison between the two brushes. It’s like apples and oranges. The Rephr brush is goat and the Kyureido is all Blue Squirrel. Rephr doesn’t hold a candle to it.

I'm interested in all of the video and I'm sure others are too. We can always dip in and out. Amazing informative video. Thank you 💕
pro tip: watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Arthur Bronson Yea, I have been watching on Flixzone} for months myself :D
@Arthur Bronson definitely, I have been watching on flixzone} for since november myself =)

Well done Alicia! I now enjoy makeup since having Japanese make up brushes. Thank you so much.

i finally understand why anyone would even want to make those “last time i was this early” comments. 42 seconds! fude infovids are my fav
Whoop whoop!! I’m happy to hear that!
I so appreciate your in depth demos and descriptions of brushes!! I find it so difficult to interpret written descriptions of brushes to decide what brushes would work best for me without first seeing them in action.
Never fails, I end up buying something! Just ordered the two weasel eyeshadow brushes.
She’s a natural born salesperson. She’s not even trying, but she finesses me out of my cash on a regular basis. And I keep voluntarily returning to the scene of the incident!

I really wait for your brush reviews before buying, so detailed and it’s very appreciated, Alicia! 🧡

Spring 2022 Fude meet up in Japan!
Kinkysweat you are the best!!
@kinkysweat hey frennn! What an awesome video! Thank you! I just bought them all!
I can't wait until we can travel internationally again and when that happens, guess where I'll be dragging the husband?!? Japan baby!!
Dang, came for a brush review but you sold me on that Danessa Myricks cream contour 😍

Must buy all the brushes!
I want the fox hair brushes - after Lent I'm going to treat myself to at least one... okay two!! lol Thanks so much for turning me onto Fude brushes!!
How did I miss this on my feed?
You do the best brush reviews
I love these brush techniques names 🤣🤣🤣
I need those brushes!
What color did you use from the dm contour balm for the demo today?
Medium 3!
How would you compare the powder brush to the rephr powder brush?
There really is no comparison between the two brushes. It’s like apples and oranges. The Rephr brush is goat and the Kyureido is all Blue Squirrel. Rephr doesn’t hold a candle to it.
Time to hide the credit card 😅
Do you think the KT02... I think... 12:08... would be ideal for baked gelee formulas that can be hard to pick up with a super soft brush?
I think it will be better pick up since it has the horsehair blend, yes!
@@aliciaarcher I spoke too soon... maybe I need the KM005? 🤓
@@aliciaarcher I bought both 🤷🏽♀️😬
WHEWPS 🤣 Thank you for supporting, friend!
i'm building a wishlist already lol
