Never had any problem forgiving those who didn't have a relationship with Christ. But it was more than horrible to be betrayed by those who you believe are Christians. The lies just make it a lot worse.

I’m really shocked I just read this on here. You know it’s really true I pray Lisa and 5 kids get past this and forgive and are richly blessed. I do wish she could of keeper her home the kids grew up in. It’s so sad to hear this. I’m sorry I’ve seen to much of this it’s just shocking to see it in ministry leaders and they act like nothings wrong?

I agree with ministry people who think there's nothing wrong with what they do that's not according to the words of Jesus? It's my prayer that God bless Lisa and the children that have been hurt by the wrong. God will allow her to forgive and be a blessing to those who understand when they have the same trial to go through. God is merciful and forgiving and wants us to be the same. Even as onlookers, we have to forgive and let God do the judging as He sees fit!

Why is Joni’s shows all about wanting to teach on forgiveness , an forgiving now ,her guilt is destroying her , does she really thinok people are as stupid and can’t see through why she’s on a band wagon of forgiveness it it’s guilt on her part and it’s destroying her , Joni and Doug have kicked a lot of people in there teeth and tried to convince some people getting a paycheck from daystar or want to promote there ministry on day star , and think people won’t go against them and speak truth , but whoever is in the web that’s covering and standing for there lies , God says vengeance are mine saith the Lord , and I shall repay , I pray God heals Dougs wife Lisa and children’s broken heart and allow her to be set free , from a man with many issuers in his life that thinks he’s covering , be glad Doug walked when his word wasn’t his word of honor , I would never go to counseling that he would be involved with , he’s far from trustworthy , how could you ever trust a man , when he didn’t stay put in his own marriage , I pray Marcus had his kids name on day star or else they should walk away and start over and leave Doug and Joni behind , greed gets you no where

It’s really something to see sometimes you think you know people then you realize you don’t. I see zero guilt looks to me they see themselves as the victim. They have no board over them they can make their own rules. There is a God we pray what is right wins in all this. There’s so much that’s been revealed it’s been a little shocking.

It's hard not to bear that hurt out loud to others verses hashing it out with the actual person who hurt you or just sharing it with God only. By retelling the hurt to others, it keeps the hurt alive and often muddies the opinion of the guilty party in other's eyes

    • @user-dy5yn8em7k

Walls become a prison that not only keeps the other person out but keeps you locked in. A boundary is decision to keep loving, keep forgiving, even if from a distance but just deciding how close to your heart you allow that person to come. It can sometimes look like a wall in extreme hurt cases.

Forgiveness is not always having them in your life you can and should cut some people off and out out of your life. Forgiveness does not mean relationship .. analogy. . the neighbors dog bites you over and over. it's o.k. to not go near him and you can still forgive the dog with out petting him again..

Forgiveness has been the only way for me to survive since my soul had been hurt multiple times very badly. I knew this before I found redemption by Jesus. And since the day I've understood that we don't fight against humans of flesh and blood forgiveness has become even easier. Jesus said, forgive 77x7 times. 7 stands for perfection and completeness = 3 times perfection!

Life long prayers of forgiveness, sometimes so arduous, but totally important. Thank you for this program, I truly had my breakthrough about it all when I started to realise(Holy spirit inspired I might add) that Jesus said from the cross, forgive them for they know not what they do. My eyes were opened to that understanding(like finally!) , and God was able to help me and enlarge my understanding, and the importance of knowing this.

I definitely now understand that unforgiveness will tear our behinds up!!!!! Unforgiveness causes us to manifest via spirits of torment, hatred, pride, entitlement, bitterness, unfair judgments, wrath, pity parties, 😢 monitoring spirits, etc. The Holy Spirit is definitely helping me to grow in this particular area. I can definitely say that whether we choose to admit it or not. I have received this reality check. When one comes from myriads of abuses as a child & adulthood because we're wounded we often run a gambit of unrealistic expectations, on top of this we can exhibit heavy spirits of Pride, Controlling, Gaslighting, Entitlement, Selfishness, Vengeance, Manipulation, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, we definitely need Deliverance!!!!! I've lived it struggling 😪 self-hatred, having been betrayed repeatedly. But there's only freedom in Truth, not about others but the TRUTH about me.

Get in the word of God and read for yourself , don’t listen to your friends , family or anyone speaking negative about you ,the word of God says sin is sin , no big sin no little sin , sin is sin , there’s not one sin greater than the other , read about David in the Bible , you need to find a church , Bible believing church , not what man says , not mans opinions not your family opinions , not living under the law , as you listen to your family , and start making the word come alive , start claiming scripture, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, your allowing your family hold you back , even stoped going to church over what your family says why ? get in the Bible when there lying to you and telling you that God only forgives some sin , obviously they either don’t know the Bible or there lying , and lying is just as equal to the sin there not forgiving you for , Gods bigger than any mess we create and forgives all sin , some family never forgive and is always throwing it back in faces , they can’t bridal their tongue , comes a time you have to make decisions to either stay with family that can’t move on and forgive or cut the apron strings as long as your legal age and walk , talk to Jesus his your forever friend .

Earlier today, I came across this video again, and I realized it is one of three centered around Joni Lamb's marriage to Doug Weiss. Honestly, I can't imagine why it is anybody's business. This channel has gotten tons of views on these videos. (Lots of money made with the average per view being roughly $2.25 and as much as $3.00 per view.) Let's not forget the "likes" and "sharing" these videos. Cha-Ching. Mr. Simone, you asked everyone for grace. Grace is unmerited favor our Father God endows to His children, as He wills it. Maybe you meant to say, "show mercy?" I don't see much mercy on your part.
Then (since you want honesty) you ask for donations and/or a monthly commitment to "the ministry" to spread the Gospel. Ministry? This doesn't seem like a Christian ministry. Let's be real. Just looking at the cartoon-like gestures you make tells me something. You, Joshua, said you have 20 years "in the ministry," yet you also said you got saved in 2015. Huh? This is more like a gossip channel/news channel/let's all get on the bandwagon and vent channel/what's your opinion channel. Reading people's comments makes me scratch my head in wonderment. There is so much hate for Doug Weiss and all praises to his ex-wife, who NONE (except one or two) knows. Even so, with all the knowing, no one knows what really happened. All the fussing about how she still works at Doug's business is ridiculous. It is an income for her, a job she might really enjoy, and she might be an integral part of that office. People need to stop micro-managing the lives of others. A question to ask could be, "If Doug was such a bad guy, how on earth could she stay there?" You, the owner of this channel, keep saying repeatedly that you are not gossiping. "They did this to themselves." And, "I'm not here to destroy anyone's character," you said. Add to that, "I'm not assassinating anyone here, I'm just talking and referring to some of their behaviors," is what you said. No, you are openly gossiping!
You even dig into Jimmy Evens (whose league you are not even in), pointing out he is no longer a pastor at Robert Morris' church. Maybe he retired from that church. You are putting all of these people in a bad light and saying they did this to themselves. And all the judging of Joni Lamb is ridiculous! Wow! Some of you kept a timeline of when Marcus died, when Doug divorced, when Doug sold the house, when Joni and Doug got married, when it was announced. How and why any of this happened is nobody's business. You righteous ones should not be saying two words about this couple, Jimmy Evans, or anyone.
Since you're looking for a few facts, did you know that Marcus had an affair some time ago? They called it "an affair of the heart," but only they and God know what happened there. My 2 cent opinion is could it be Joni, being so crushed and embarrassed all these years, stayed with Marcus for the sake of the family and even moreso for the ministry? (Now that's a ministry!) I'm not saying this to badmouth Marcus. I appreciate the Daystar Ministry. Even the saved can find themselves weak and sin and fall short. Nevertheless, what a blow to Joni that must've been.
My personal opinion, for what's it worth, is that Joni, however it happened, is in love. And I believe Doug is too. For shame you who think he's after her money!! Does he look like a slouch to you? I think they each found love, and whatever happened with Doug's ex is personal, and no one has the right to say they should have told the whole, wide world why they got divorced.
Mr. Simone, you repeated your sentiments about that several times. It is not yours, not mine, not anyone's business, just because they are in Christian ministry. God knows, and that's enough. If He forgives them, which He does, who is anyone to bring this all up? There is only ONE unpardonable sin, and divorce (however done) is not an unpardonable sin. Listen closely to what Jimmy Evens gives as a biblical example, and you'll be relieved. I think it's in 2Corinthians, but check it for yourself to be sure. When Joni said she felt peace (still does) over her decision, who is anyone to say that isn't good enough? If her decision was wrong, Holy Spirit would have let her know. J.S. you said, regarding Joni's feeling peace, a few things. What if your heart lies? is one thing. And, regarding Joni's decision and the peace she felt, "It has to be confirmed by the people in the church!" Sorry, but that is simply not true.
I paused this video numerous times to take notes, to be as accurate as possible in my comments. There are many quotes of yours, J.S. I could go into, but I'll just add a few because the comments started to go all over the place, mentioning Martin Luther Kind, the apostate church, "This video," you said, "is really about Doug not revealing the cause of divorce, and he's charging thousands and thousands of dollars in his marriage ministry and his ex-wife still works for him." A lot of repetition in tearing this man down, like he owes anyone an explanation for anything he's done. It's simply not fair to pass judgment on him, Joni, Jimmy. What does his fees have to do with anything? Silly comments like, "If he's a marriage counselor, why couldn't he fix his own marriage?" just show how shallow this thing has gotten. Did you ever hear the saying, "A wounded physician makes the best healer?"
For all I know, my comment is way too long and will be cut. My point is that no one has the right to judge anyone, You are making money on every person who views, comments, shares, likes, etc. and you're worried about how much Dough, a PhD, if I'm not mistaken, makes? Can't you see how terrible this whole thing is? Sorry this got so long. I hope my input helped.

My entire life it was so easy for me to forgive.
My heart was tender and willing.
Then a couple of major things came up in rapid succession that literally devastated me. I was totally shattered and for the first time ever,I hated,I wanted to hurt these people and actually wished bad things for them.
    I wish I could say I have totally forgiven them,but I can’t.
I struggle with it,give it to God,then take it back. I hate this monkey on my back.
Now every time I think of them,I say,”Lord,I make it a conscious act of my will to forgive them,I need Your help.”
I am truly afraid I will go to hell. Please pray for me.

What they have done is beyond disappointing and disgusting. I have just stayed quite, and have not defended myself at all. I simply just walked away! 😢 it’s been 4 years! I want to forgive I just don’t know how too!
