I bought a size 9.5M Campo when SNS was having a sale. I was skeptical because I thought Veja didn’t do half sizes but I guess I was wrong. The shoe shipped from their European warehouse but they fit like a glove. Glad I didn’t have to go through the trouble of trying to figure what size I needed.
I would do the 38 if you have to but honestly get both and then just return the one that she doesn’t like! I do have a segment in my video on how to do a return. It wasn’t that easiest, but the shoes fit so odd when it comes to sizing.

The campos are great! The V12 were a little more sporty but the size I got ended up not fitting so I never wore them
