Hey everyone! Thanks for watching my Reaction to Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs! Yes I am feeling a little better and should be good to start recording again. Jurassic Park Full Reaction is up on Patreon and will be on TH-cam Friday! Thanks again!
Scratte is one of my most favorite characters in the Ice Age films! I like how in each situation, she somehow gets the upper hand on Scrat in getting the acorn, with her wits and flying skills. She’s a regular “clever girl.” 😉
@@jayngb not a movie, it’s Captain Underpants. Half way through the book series, the main characters end up adopting those animals and one of them ends up pregnant later on...so you do the math.

Rudy is actually an albino baryonyx. He was originally going to be a spinosaurus but was changed to avoid being too similar to Jp III. Normally a baryonix is smaller than a T. Rex, length-wise, so they made Rudy bigger through sheer size.
Also the T Rex shouldn’t be that much bigger than a mammoth. But it’s huge here. I think maybe because these dinosaurs have survived for 65 million years, and evolved to be larger. In 10,000 BC, they look much different clearly.
16:12 Manny: "Don't ever yabba-dabba-do that again." Omg that line made me burst out in laughter 🤣 And since the Flintstones and Ice Age technically take place in prehistoric times, it makes sense. 🤣 18:36 Ouch. Poor Scrat. 26:52 Omg, Scrat just gets beat up throughout the franchise. He seriously can't get a break.
*Not so fun fact:* Paleontologists have a theory that sabretooth tigers were extinct because the environment adapted around them. The slow moving big preys were gone, and the only ones were smaller, but faster herbivores, so they just couldn't keep up the pace. I'm usually not a fan of the "over protective dad" trope because a lot of times there's no reason for it, but Manny has a good reason to be as protective as he is
I actually liked Scrat and Scratte together, I think they could've worked. And if you pay attention, during the song "Alone Again (Naturally)" where the acorn "looks sad", it's the only time in the entire series where Scrat didn't get hurt or got into a bad situation. Only when he was actually away from his acorn and with Scratte did he really feal truly happy. It's kind of a sad little detail (that's probably not intentional). Also, Rudy is an unnaturally large albino baryonyx in case you didn't know.
@Jurassic Hero wait, they were planning the Bary? Oh my, I would have loved to see it, if only as a cameo instead of the Ceratosaurus. Its one of my favorite dinosaurs.

I've always wondered, where are the humans? The only references we have are Buck, Peaches, Manny and Ellie’s relationship, etc. But we never hear about the Humans from the first one, or Diego’s former pack, or The Fire King from the second one, etc.

Great movie! I'd say this was a very big change of movie compared to the last 2, alot more action and alot less of the serious realistic stuff. It did technically have realistic moments but they were played out more silly and as jokes, it felt weird sometimes. I think the next movie did this type of action fantasy better, I'll stay tuned for that reaction 🔥
Also imagine this, a guy A meets another guy B who looks perfect for him, they keep meeting back and fourth occasionally but never have a real date together. Suddenly a girl starts going for him, in the midst of all the chaos the first guy A goes out with the girl leaving the guy B feeling heartbroken and depressed. When guy A realizes the girl wasn't right he goes back with guy B, out of anger the girl sabotages their relationship over a social media like Instagram. but all three of them get arrested. that's what happened with the squirrels and the acorn.
You know there was going to be a short where Scratt eventually meets a little squirrel that turns out to be his son and he tries to teach him something that involves acorns
I figured out how the dinosaurs haven't been discovered until now when the ice melted in the second one it was enough to thin the ice blocking off the dinos for one to get through. And dinosaurs don't like the cold anyway so they would stay where they are unless they are desperate like searching for there babies.

I've always wondered, where are the humans? The only references we have are Buck, Peaches, Manny and Ellie’s relationship, etc. But we never hear about the Humans from the first one, or Diego’s former pack, or The Fire King from the second one, etc.
They probably went extinct.
What is more ridiculous:
A Sloth and a T-Rex
or
A Donkey and a Dragon
Glad you’re feeling better
Can I just say that I love Buck and his VA. Simon Pegg plays three characters I love, and funnily enough, they sound nothing alike. Buck from this movie, Ogden Morrow from "Ready Player One," and skekSil the Chamberlain from Netflix's "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance."
Plus, all the movies in the Cornetto Trilogy. He's the star in all of them.
I love Buck he’s my favorite character, he’s so funny!
Ice Age 3 is my favorite :D
This is literally my favorite ice age film.
Same here
My favorite childhood parts were the laughing gas, scratt, and the "Peaches" code.
Idk why but Sid and the momma rex is like Donkey and the dragon lol
Edit: Ice age 3 was actually the first ice age i watched when i was a kid probably cuz i love dinosaurs
XD i thought the same thing when i was a kid.
1st comment!! Bro!!! LOVE YOU!! my fav movie!!! ICE AGE!! love all the parts!!n 🥰🥰😘❤️
Out of all the movies in the franchise, Dawn of Dinosaurs has the most adult jokes.
18:34 comedic timing at it's finest 😂
"Come on, a sloth and a dinosaur? Only in an Ice Age movie"
Meanwhile, Donkey from Shrek with Dragon: "😐😐😐"
Ice age 3! Starring the Indominus Rex as “rudy”
7:34 I still don't get how he failed that
Ice age 3, transformers 3 and terminator 3 have similar names with the two words 'of and the' like dawn of the dinosaurs, dark of the moon and rise of the machines.
Lol, my husband is named Tim 😅
Buck is an underrated character
Who are you talking about when you say “well you wouldn’t be the first ones to name a kid after a front”is that something that happened in a … Sheck movie or something
Out of all 5 Ice Age movies, this one IMO is the best
Please do a reaction to “Ice age a mammoth Christmas” it makes more sense to watch it before continental drift
36:15 It's funny Diego calling that other dinosaur wuss
When buck was going back and forth, he has one leg on the ground. When I was younger I actually thought that he was floating.
Rule Number 1 Always Listen to Buck 🐱
As a HUGE dinosaur fan
It really irritates me that I can't make out what Rudy is!
It's a baryonyx unaturally big.
And with this movie down, Cody is basically ready for the new "Buck Wild" series! (They haven't shown him yet in trailers or anything, but I hope Rudy will still be involved in it. I love the spinosaurid family, and an albino oversized Baryonix/Suchomimus was interesting to me.)
Hotel Transylvania transformania is coming this Friday
Great movie! I'd say this was a very big change of movie compared to the last 2, alot more action and alot less of the serious realistic stuff. It did technically have realistic moments but they were played out more silly and as jokes, it felt weird sometimes. I think the next movie did this type of action fantasy better, I'll stay tuned for that reaction 🔥
Re the relationship moving fast several real life years did pass between ice age 2 and 3...
It still feels so long ago since this movie came out, but I still love the Animation. The baby dinosaurs and baby Peaches are just too cute
My favourite Ice Age film!
Let’s goooo, my favorite one out of them all, just because of buck :)
You know there was going to be a short where Scratt eventually meets a little squirrel that turns out to be his son and he tries to teach him something that involves acorns
It was only with the trailer that I found out he name was Scrat.
This is my favourite Ice Age movies!
Ice Age 3 is my most favorite Ice Age movie Cody.
Can you watch the (2006) FLOOD? It's an action movie where a tsunami hits London.
I what's find when I watch this movie that it looks so bright when they finally return to the ice at the end.
Fun fact: there is no such thing as a pterodactyl.
Rudy is indeed not a t-Rex, he’s a albino baryonyx.
I figured out how the dinosaurs haven't been discovered until now when the ice melted in the second one it was enough to thin the ice blocking off the dinos for one to get through. And dinosaurs don't like the cold anyway so they would stay where they are unless they are desperate like searching for there babies.
First a Donkey with a Dragon
Now a Sloth with a Dinosaur
Whats next 💀
A hamster and a pterodactyl
@@HarmonyOCWHAT?
@@gavinrice2246 it's a reference to the captain underpants book
Update: reading about them again, I realized that they are not part hamster and part pterodactyl but part hamster and part Quetzalcoatlus
