Wise choice. I would encourage you to read and meditate upon Psalm 139, Psalm 91, Psalm 73, Psalm 10, Take them to heart, I thought life was crazy 50 years ago (there was still a sense of normalcy then), Romans chapter 1 has since gone cancerous in society.
I still want to be found faithful in Christ. This lifespan of ours is but a moment in the span of eternity.

Lord Jesus, I come before you right now in this moment. Thank you for my blessings that I have today. I know your working in my life. I know you have great plans for me to prosper. I lift my head to you Jesus in gratitude even though I don't have a GF. And I don't have a job you alone are doing things to provide for me and to protect me and my family. Your a strong provider and a strong listener in my time of need and in my time of contentment. Things are moving for me in such a beautiful way. Lord annoint my head with oil of joy even when I am alone. And when I'm with my family Lord, please don't let me feel depressed but take joy and comfort in the presence of my loved ones. Rid the depression, let it become like a beautiful rain. Cleansing me of all weary thoughts and those things that bother my mind so much. Teach me Lord. Teach me to wear the garment of love in the midst of a sorrowful mind. Teach me to wear the garment of praise again and again. That I grow to know true Joy and it's quite tender sincerity like your love that flows to me each and every day. I lift this up to you Jesus Christ. -Tara. Amen
when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!🙌🙌

God, I don’t know why I have had to face such difficulties. I know I haven’t always been willing to talk to you but I am here now. Forgive me for being such a fool. I hope that you know me and see my heart. I am good. No matter what the situation is that has gotten me so down I know that I am good. I’ve been very depressed lately and negative in my thoughts and speech..please, help me.. I cannot go through this or The rest of my life without you. I try very hard and deal with too much doubt and double mindedness..please help me stay on this path. I’ve made bad choices in the past and deeply regret it. Help me remain honest, truthful, loyal and most of all compassionate. I don’t know how to love myself in times of stress or difficulty, but I’m always willing to give.. I can’t do this alone..please stay close to me
