Allen. I am not a wedding photographer. Am still person. But want to thank you for all your wonderful posts. During covid lockdown your enthusiasm was very helpful. Like the gear journey. I still hold onto my nikon 50mm 1.2 ais on d700. Brilliant.
@@CreativePixelPhotoswhat is your opinion on using V1 outside on a sunny day as a full flash? I read somewhere it may not be powerful enough compared to a V860 iii. How true is this?
@@iggytse To the best of my knowledge they are the same power - or at least very close. The V1 benefits from a more adjustable head, better light pattern and is a better trigger for other off camera flashes. All in all for me there's no question that the V1 is the better choice Allen
I love Godox but not the Fresnel or round heads - the light is almost unusable ourside of special use. The bigger Godox strobe units with a reflector is my first choice...🦘
Hi - really - I find the V1 every bit as good as the AD200 except of course on a bright sunny day outdoors. Also of course can use on camera which, with the right modifiers actually works well.
Great video! Thank you
Great stuff Allen , thats such a good hands on video , its nice listening to someone thats doing pro photography .

A clear concise exposition. Thank you
Sir Allen, I use a D780 with a Godox V1 and I really love them! Great regards. D.
I was looking at getting the Godox V1. Currently only have an old sb28 from my Nikon F100 but it isn’t compatible with my recently acquired D810.
You'll love the V1 :-)
