I bought the large but is way to big for everyday use for me. I think is better for school.
I changed it for this size and this is perfect.
I bought one.. I didn't realize it was as big as it was.. but I love it... I'll get used to it
Coach also makes a mini size.

No. It’s mainly a purse backpack. It will not fit school books or binders.

water bottle?
Yes it can fit a water bottle depending on the size. A regular 16oz great value plastic bottle it can and you can go up a little bigger
