Thanks PAPA, this may sounds funny but I will go out there and turn the ac and light even on the days I don’t go to the shop just to burn off surplus power. Try to stay cool this week Buddy 😎👍

You Got The Sun Rocking It Out For You Brother!!! Soft Start On The Mini-Split Ought To Work For You!!! Isn't It Nice When A Project Like The Ground Saw Actually Is Of Use Instead Of Just Taking Up Space After It's Done!!! Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
It looks like you have your sensors at the bottom I could be wrong. If you place the sun sensor towards the top of the panel they'll work better. And by the way they all get out of whack. Been doing solar tracker and building my own solar trackers for over a decade. Loving life Off grid in Tennessee.😊
@@Michelle-pg3hz I have them about 15 foot apart. On each solar array I grounded the mast with an 8 foot ground rod and connected a ground strap from the upper mount to the mast. Thanks and take care
Thank you for the tracker update. I would like to see a review of the whole house's solar system. I am lost with all the wiring on the wall. I ask because I live in an area with killer west sun. But it's in the front yard, I don't want to attach to my metal roof so a front porch may be in order. On the other hand, I have an intense morning sun In just a sliver in the east backyard. What I am looking at is a string configuration named East and West. Thanks for all your work
Thanks and good luck with the system you install. There are several DIY complete solar kits on eBay. Do your research and you can have a very functional system.
Hey Lloyd, Looks like Y'all are going to be making some real good power. Who did you purchase that tracker through? I am assembling components for a solar array at El Rancho and this looks like it would be a good fit for me. It's awesome to see you using that ground saw, I remember the series you had restoring that machine. Hope you're having a splendid weekend.
Thanks, the trackers are from Eco-Worthy and I purchased them on eBay. Wait on till they have a holiday sale and you can get a really good deal. Good luck an take care
@@RustyGlovebox in Nova Scotia it's almost a must to have an Generator as there always seems to be power outages during the summer to fall months from Hurricanes and in the winter storms.
WOW, you got it going on there Lloyd. I bet your Texas job misses you! I wish I had half the knowledge you and @steverob have!

No, my system is separate from the grid. Would be nice if I could. Thanks Dan
I hope to some day to be able to do some solar... Free power is always good. But do have plan for if you guys get bad weather?
