- What can crochet hooks be made of? A crochet hook can be made from an ordinary used toothbrush. To make a crochet hook out of a toothbrush, you don't need complicated tools. It is enough to have a clerical knife and nail files.
This is a great tutorial for people in prison who still desire to crochet.

Found clearanced blue yarn once matching a narrow piece of plaid woven fabric also marked down to pennies. Was so broke, went out in the back yard and found a stick, whittled it into a smooth hook with a pocket knife I got at 14. Crocheted broomstick lace border around the fabric edge, for a runner to step out on instead of cold bare floor in the morning. Necessity is the mother of invention.

I’m retired and have to watch what I spend. I need to buy a hook but it was $11. Dollars I didn’t buy it so I saw it was made from bamboo so I just got make husband to make a notch in it and then I got a free hook .

That’s pretty funny I had a broken toothbrush that I had been using to clean the fish tank when the head broke off, and I just made myself a crocheted hook. My father always whittled them out of wood for us usually when we were camping.

Na minha adolescência nos anos 80, fiz muita agulha de crochet de madeira com lascas grandes de madeira que sobravam dos barcos que meu falecido pai fazia. Eu fazia bolsas de corda que na época eram bem modernas. Ganhei algum dinheiro com aquelas bolsas. Quando minha agulha de madeira quebrava, eu ia perto de onde o meu pai estava trabalhando, catava um pedaço de madeira, e com uma faca pequena fazia outra agulha.😊🇧🇷🎉

For those who don't have any Sharp cutter.take a old/new flat toothbrush. Cut the brush side (if you can) and if you can't leave it . Turn it upside down . And then put the upside down side om high frame heat . Then before it gets cold back again. Use scissors to cut the corners.. (DO NOT TOUCH IT ) then use a heavy meterial and push the toothbrush on the wall (or anywhere to ) fold it . Then done 👍🏻 if you don't understand something reply me i will explain you .... Bye 👋🏻
Fold it before it drys . I mean fold means little bit or however size you want to make m it should look like 1 this . Just the the one's up is little folded . You need the fold it like this .
