Good for those of us who saw the birth of DVD technology.
For those who have forgotten : this technology was presented with this musical theme , whether in the old VHS tapes or in the " first DVD discs "
Selene: [voiceover] The war had all but ground to a halt in the blink of an eye. Lucian, the most feared and ruthless leader ever to rule the Lycan clan, had finally been killed. The Lycan horde scattered to the wind in a single evening of flame and retribution. Victory, it seemed, was in our grasp, the very birthright of the vampires. Nearly six centuries had passed since that night, yet the ancient feud proved unwilling to follow Lucian to the grave. Though Lycans were fewer in number, the war itself had become more perilous, for the moon no longer held her sway. Older, more powerful Lycans, were now able to change at will. The weapons had evolved, but our orders remained the same: Hunt them down and kill them off, one by one. A most successful campaign. Perhaps too successful. For those like me, a Death Dealer, this signaled the end of an era. Like the weapons of the previous century, we, too, would become obsolete. Pity, because I lived for it.🌕🔫

Hard to believe it's been 20 years since the release of the first Underworld film in the franchise in 2003. Where in the hell did two decades go??????? Just blows my mind.
I finished watching Underworld: Evolution yesterday, and I have to say that I am REALLY digging into this franchise! This one is my favorite so far, the first one was fantastic as well. Selene is such a freaking badass!
And she’s SO pretty!! I always thought Michael was a cutie too.

I don't get the lyrics in the chorus. Some ppl say the chorus is "play it on, play, play it on". Other ppl say "ride on, ride, ride on". But what I actually hear is "buy it all, buy, buy it all".

I realize the official lyrics differ from this, but I've actually seen official lyrics that were obviously wrong, even inside the record sleeve. I cite Alice Cooper's "Mary Ann," where the sleeve lyrics included "I'm really crazy 'bout you 'deed I am," when the line obviously ends with "do what I can." You can still find references to the blatantly incorrect lyrics online.

Chorus could literally be almost anything, ride on, play it on, lay it on, play along...I won't even try. I've just always gone with "play it on" because I believe I read it long ago. Yet given the known and/or likely lyrics (red tape, gaffer tape, cello(phane) wrap), the likely candidate is "lay it on," as in more layers.
