I feel ya, 😂 I honestly thought I was the only kid back in the early 2000s who played this game because no one in my school heard of this game, I feel so honored to have played this game, I especially loved how when you traveled to a new village they had their own theme song that complemented their own look and appearance Honestly it’s been years and I don’t remember much about the storyline but what I remember from it was there was an earthquake and the land splits up and I end up going on a quest to either find someone or Somthing 😅🤷♂️ like I said it’s been forever

this brings back my childhood memories from the early 2000s of playing this game on the old Nintendo DS for hours, my biggest regret was not finishing this game, I got stuck in the sand dooms map and then when my family and I moved places I lost the game, now I’m 31 and want to play this again, this game was the closest that I’m probably ever going to come to an actual exploration and journey
I just played through this and the lost age recently and I thought it was a pretty good game. It took me back to the days of the snes rpgs so even though I didn't grow up with this game, it still gave me nostalgia for that era of gaming.

Golden Suns Soundtracks were ALL good, no doubt about it, but Dark Dawn was a straight up masterpiece for the Nintendo DS. Especially Ayuthay. And damn it sounds even nicer with the rainy sounds. Thanks a lot for this great mix! I use it for stuyding and sleeping alike, it's so soothing

Hey! I used sound effects from the TH-cam audio library called "Rainy Heavy Loud," "Rolling Thunder," and "Distant Thunder" and then stitched them together in my editing program to get the rain + thunder effect. You can download them for free in the TH-cam audio library in the sound effect section!

i'm trying to beat this game without looking up, please no spoilers but is it possible? it's not like castlevania kneel down and tornado right? I just was walking around tree village and walked into the back of a tree and found a secret entrance and walked through a tunnel and went up and found a djinni, coolest game ever
I'd say it's definitely possible to beat Golden Sun 1 without a guide. You'll probably miss a couple djinn and secrets (I know I did on my first playthrough lol) but the game lets you go back and get those before Venus Lighthouse. If you're looking to 100% the game (all djinn, all extra psynergy, all bosses, all extra cutscenes), you probably will need a guide. Some of the djinn are super hard to find. Your data here also transfers to the second game, so if you miss some of the extra stuff here, you'll miss some of the extra stuff in The Lost Age too. Again, it's nothing super important (you just get some extra cutscenes and battles) and you can still beat the game without using a guide.
Hearing this again feels good! If Camelot ever see this very comment, would you hear my personal request of making Golden Sun an Anime series? I really think that would be a great hit to all GS Fans and new audiences alike. I would like to see Vale Warriors (especially Mia) and/or New Generation of Vale Warriors
