As much as I wanted it, AND I REALLY WANTED IT, I couldn't justify paying $80 for an Optimus Prime without his trailer. I'm a former MP Transformers collector and I have 2 version of Optimus that came with his trailer Roller, Spike and Sparkplug for about $100. It's an awesome piece, considering it still able to transform, it was just too much of Optimus missing to justify the price tag.
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the Optimus Prime, huge bummer you weren't able to get it at retail price when it dropped. I agree with you about how special the piece will most likely be in the future. A pretty nostalgic character and a collaboration between Mattel and Hasbro will surely be a historic, valuable item. yet another one here. i had it in my cart, it told me to wait for checkout i got in and then it wouldnt let me buy it. i kept trying to input my payment and then after 9 minutes it kicked me out and said it was out of stock. i refuse to pay scalpers. i blocked mattel from my email. my total would have been 95 with shipping and taxes. i looked on ebay and saw who all bought them. i refuse to pay scalpers. i could of bought one for 120 but then i would have had to pay taxes on the higher price tag. i dont need it. im happier with the money. times are tough. i aint a kid anymore. time to let it go.

The same thing happened to me. I had it in my cart and my card said it couldn’t be processed. I tried for about 10 minutes and nothing I was on my phone and I decided to use my iPad and I had no issues there. The transaction went through. I’m not sure if it was a glitch, but once I switched devices, I was fine. sorry you had to pay prices but I’m glad you were able to get at least

I pulled the trigger anyway and l later found that the truck is smaller but it's a collectible yeah now on eBay it's going at least $200😮 insane. We as adult collectors like myself are going to buy nastalgiaic figures from our childhood.l am Motu origins, transformers and now Gi Joe classified. The collections is taking over the apartment, my girl complaining about space but this is what I like to do. If I like and work for it I buy. So we all need to keep doing what we love to do. I was really lucky to get two for my collection and I'm from down under but heard many had issues, one of them may be due to not been login in, even though your on the page you won't be able to checkout unless your logged into your account another is when it says to add your bank details again, if that happens scroll down the page till you see, sign out as a guest, click on to that instead and you should be back to your page where you should, now another issue I'm aware of is if you have slow computer you'll need at least an i5 quad 4 minimum requirement or better, these worked for me and maybe it will work for you too I hope.

The solution to this bug was to choose the "checkout as guest" option. Nobody knew this going in, and I happened to do it by mere chance after trying for like 20 minutes with the normal method.

That's actually pretty good considering I've dealt with mattel exclusives before that sold out in 3mins. These capchas need to stop when preorders go live cause it's the stupidist thing ever, I awnsered those things right everytime and it wouldn't end sheesh
