  • Little bit of a different one today guys, Zaharoff kindly allowed me to do a breakdown on this ad I made for the launch of their new perfume AURUM. This was a lot of fun. The purpose of this video is to show you some of the main things I did to get each scene working in C4D and Redshift.
I will be making more detailed videos, let me know which shots you would like to see in more detail, I am keen to dive in deeper if you guys want to see.
Apologies for the messy file structure, but I did this entirely solo so there was no need for me to organise too much!
Cheers for watching, any workflow or presentation tips are very welcome.

note: removed add music for youtube. Let me know with comment and DM and I'll do project breakdowns more frequently. Also let me know which scene you want to see

Cool quick breakdown, i didnt quite understand for shot 002a how the null with the xpresso tag was changing the position of the null. But it was a very clever setup to quickly find your hero sphere/bee.

thanks for your comment, I just rewatched that part and I was very unclear, apologies I was trying to get through it all in a reasonable amount of time.
Take the clone and feed it into the data node, then use the data node to set the position of a null. The null is what we put into the target tag that is on the camera.
Hope that helps, happy to clarify

Very informative and thorough. Some tutorials like to include what buttons are being pushed, but I think it was appropriate in this case not to include them. Nice use of zoom ins/outs. Great job!

The animation looks cool but that's definitely not a tutorial. Maybe just clickbait, who knows...
