@@meetmehalfway7982 We can’t for sure say that Russia uses low casualties tactic or its army is just weak because we are not involved in the conflict and get different information from different sources. So, I don’t want to turn this into a whole argue like it’s always happening in the comment section.
But, we have a fact, that Ukraine didn’t make any huge breakthrough since November 2022 and losing territories day by day since winter of this year. Even though Ukraine still exists as an independent nation, it’s land area shrinks by small portions every single day.
Russia on the other side was only capturing new land until 6 august 2024, since this day it’s also losing territories every day.
So, technically, I am right, both Ukraine and Russia losing its own land every day but occupying new land of the enemy, in spite of different proportions. It’s a fact

I think Russia isn't deploying as many reinforcements in kursk as it should so as to not give into the pressure by the Ukrainian armed forces and use up their experienced troops on that front, but that's only backfiring amd the same thing is happening to Ukraine in pokrovsk direction
its a battle of who can defend and attack better on both fronts pretty much
I don't see what Ukraine is gaining by holding on to wood and farmland in Kursk. Doesn't seem like Russia will agree to a trade and it does weaken the Ukranian lines in the Donbas. Besides the PR damage (which is substantial mind you) it does seem like this situation as it currently is benefits Russian strategic goals more than it does Ukranian, which might be why Russia doesn't want to commit the necessary force to recapture the area just yet.
Kurks is more value for propaganda than other thing. Russia free more land in Donbass and now it can be denazify in Kurks the best untits of ukranatsi army. Russia have time in it's favor ukranatsis not. specially when november is more near each day. For them it's all or nothing gamble.

Russia has tended to inflate Ukrainian daily losses by x4 to x10 in most months of the war. For a while there they looked like they were publishing somewhat realistic and believable numbers that probably weren't deliberately inflated, but it looks like that made someone high up unhappy so they've gone back to reporting what Russian leaders and people want to believe rather than what is happening.
I dont think Russian mod is very reliable source, tho neither is Ukraine's mod, i think its under 1000 for both sides max 1200

What reserves? They already pulled their troops from Kaliningrad, Murmansk, multiple oblasts, as well as from all fronts except the Pokrovsk front. And they don't want to pull their troops from Pokrovsk, because it's the only front they're making some advances.

Reed-yard, you needed an entire year and 100.000 casualties to take Bakhmut. You needed an entire year and 50.000 casualties to take Avdiivka. Pokrovsk and its twin city Myrnograd, are bigger than both Bakhmut and Avdiivka combined, and better developped.
Reinforcements from Murmansk is just recently, to desperately hold back the Kursk counteroffensive. And nothing will ever lead to huge advances for Russia, because Russia already lost most of its combat capabilities. Half of all equipment is already gone from their stockpiles, and of what's left, only half of that is in decent condition to be repaired. The other half would cost more to repair than to make an entirely new one.
There has only been one time Russia made huge advances, and that was in the first month of the war. Since then, nothing. Just a long, desperate slog with huge losses on Russia's side.
So keep being extremely desperately coping, bots.

Well the CSTO members never got directly involved into the conflict, since it is a defensive organization and tecnically russia invaded Ukraine first. As for the Kursk offensive, CSTO members never made an official statement. Also CSTO is disjointed, Armenia is coming closer to the West since the CSTO never helped Armenia with its conflict with Azerbaijan
