- I was really Tired of Working on Indie cross so I wanted to take a Break and Make something Different, Here's a NON FNF video :)
In this Video you're seeing what I thought it would be the Final boss for Deltarune, When I first played the 2nd chapter I Thought the way this is gonna happen is Maybe the Queen will succeed Controling Noelle and she's gonna have her fight against us and maybe we just could defeat her by ACTing, However when I played the SnowGrave route and I saw her Ice Shit I was PRAYING for a Crazy Noelle boss fight but instead we just got Spamton again :v
and that's when I was like: Fine I'll do it myself, I don't really care If this video gets 2 Views cuz it's not FNF but I just wanted to share this Idea I had with the Internet, and Maybe who knows, Maybe someone can turn this into a Playable mod! that would be Cool! :D

I like to think that the sequel to this ending happens in a "post-apocaliptic" scenario, where the world was actually covered in darkness and all the horrible things that Ralsei described really happened. I have no idea how the story would follow with that, but it would be quite interesting...
From how Ralsei described the Roaring, think the End The Fire choice that came with Dark Souls 3.
Lighteners becoming trapped in Dark, The Darkeners getting turned to stone... It's basically the Bleak atmosphere of Dark Souls 3.
Adding to that, there are two items based off Dark Souls Items... One is the Thorn Ring (The Ring of Thorns), the other is the Twisted Sword (Basically the firelink greatsword).
The latter is currently inaccessible due to the fact that you need an item called the Pure Crystal along with the Thorn Ring to make it, which is a purified Shadow Crystal you get from Secret bosses...
And Shadow Crystals seem to be the equivelant of the Soul of the Secret Boss.

I think the last darkners would hold on to life trying to obtain a lightner soul to use it as a new fountain and keep alive . That's why spamton atack kris . Then noelle knows her nightmare was real all this time and berdly was murder by her . By this point she has growth stronger as a person . And knowing the berdly thing she decides to confront kris and kill him . I think there will be a war between lightners . Not monsters vs humans . More like all vs all . Trying to survive searching for food while hiding of entitys capable of destroying cities in secconds . Like fallout fused with attack on titans
I love how RPGs like this make use of the players creativity, and how little flavor text during battles can add so much to it. Such an intense battle and the flavor text is "You have a terrible headache". It's literally just one line, a bad headache, but it conveys your characters emotions so much. You can imagine yourself in this battle with Noelle, it's freezing cold, she's standing in front of you whispering, covered in snow and has a vortex of cold air swirling around her, and yet this splitting headache has your attention.
I always imagine the fight in my head.

I know it looks bad, but maybe this is a good thing for Kris. “Your determination is fading” could mean the player is losing control over Kris, and once his Dark World form is dead, maybe the soul, our control of him, also dies, meaning he’s free once and for all in the real world.

Considering what happened to Berdly after he was killed by Noelle's SnowGrave attack, I'd imagine that Kris would be likely die in the light world as well.
This will age well after a lot of years later for each chapter
Edit: i still know that the next 3 ones will be altogether, so what i meant is the last chapter will probably age well to the genocide route's upcoming ending on the last chapter.

That frozen status effect where a single hit kills you instantly is a really good gimmick for a super hard boss fight like this. Nice job.

This hits even harder because Kris is getting snowgrave'd for actions they didn't have any control over. Damn.

The use of Sealed Vessel (from Hollow Knight) for Snowgrave Noelle's brattle theme is honestly really fitting.
Kris is being used as a vessel, and through them Noelle being used as one. Not to mention, the infection having some parallels with Kris manipulating Noelle...

Idk why, but sealed vessel fits perfectly for this. You made Noelle a vessel of ice and snow, now her only purpose is to become stronger. A lot like how the hollow knight's purpose was to contain the radiance in its dreams...

I get the angry but mostly possessed vibe she's in with the thorn ring and having that bit of time to process having cast Snowgrave for the first time before being called to aid against Spamton Neo by the player, but I feel like Noelle in this situation would either be trying to get Kris to explain their (or rather, our) actions, or even harder than with Berdly, mistake Kris for another enemy to freeze and leave the player no choice but to convince her the opposite of *Proceed*

2:23 I feel that at this point, Kris (not the player) is in control and decided to remain still and take the hit, fully knowing what would happen.
I like how Noelle's attacks resembles Asriel's with Ice Blazing (like Star Blazing) and Ice Shocks (like Shocker Breaker) supposedly referencing them both being "Angels".
It's incredible how much content has been squeezed out of just one chapter, imagine how much stuff there will be when chapters 3,4 and 5 come out simultaneously.

@@pix3l331 Well, before chapter 2 came out deltarunes fandom kinda fizzled out, and after chapter 2 came out deltarune skyrocketed in popularity. So who's to say it won't happen again ?
Ofc, the game takes around twice as long as undertale and look how much content came out of that. This game is literally fucking jam packed with content, from the light world and the dark. Everything from playing the piano to eating moss tells us something about kris as a person, and that's just fro Kris, we get just a much for everyone else too.
I would be surprised at the lack of content if it wasn't for the fact this shit takes time.
@@pix3l331 well from what I've heard the reason Deltarune chapter 2 took so long was because Toby still had to write it and do basically everything else, but the next three chapters shouldn't take as long because a lot of things like the writing and the art to my knowledge are nearly finished.

If there's no Determination to seal the fountain anymore, the Determination will restart the timeline itselfs
Also this explains why gameover screen said(when you give up) "then the world shrouded in darkness" which is the Determination is no longer exist and no one can seal the fountain anymore
And if Determination cease to exist, the world would be no more to exist...(you can't have order[light] without a chaos[dark])
Because Determination is the power of hopes and dreams(light and dark)(kindness and envy)(order and chaos) which is the foundation of dark world is the light world and light world would be balanced

I feel this is so accurate, even to the spell SnowGrave itself. Noelle seemed to take on this ethereal look, and seemed to almost be separate from her own body, or herself even, using SnowGrave so soon after berdly's boss battle, it almost feels like the spell itself is taking complete control over her. Also nice touch with the stars, dont know if it was a nod to asriel, but this was a overall really good animation! :)

To avoid confusion from fandom. Yes, poor Kris but, remember, this is NOT his choice. Its OUR choice. When game says "You mumbled Noelle's name quietly", it prefers to YOU or the PLAYER. Some people wouldn't accept this and pin blame on Kris like how they blamed Chara for Genocide route back in old day...
It becomes clear in-game after Berdly gets frozen that Kris isn't at fault, as Susie notes that Kris is distraught from it, and he refuses to answer Ralsei when suggested to think about what's going on between Susie and Noelle.

Chara wasn't the one who started the Genocide Route, but only took control when they thought it was the right thing to do.

2. i wish this was what actually happened in snowgrave, so there's even more of a consequence to your actions
3. the animation is amazing
Pretty neat, although most of these attacks would be near-impossible to dodge, especially with the freezing thing.

if this happenned after the snow grave route,i would totally cry, knowing that it isn't Kris or Noelle's fault, it's the player's fault making Kris manipulate Noelle
Kris should have an hidden power, when Queen talks about awaken the full power of Noelle i fought that all lightners might have also a more powerful form, not only Noelle.
This gets me thinking about the real secret power of Kris.

So, that doesn't count has an hidden power, because if Noelle can also create one, it will only be natural that every lightner could create, just like berdly almost create one.

Kris and the player are two different souls. The player's soul latches onto Kris's, turning it into Determination. However, Determination Souls fight over dominance of time reversal, and Kris's won. This is due to the fact that Gaster is most likely controlling Spamton and Jevil, which leads to why they are so strong. Gaster isn't as experienced as the other gods, but he knows how to split control over several beings, a power that other gods had never learnt. However, the amount of control would need to be split, and Jevil escaped from Gaster's control, but some remnants of Determination are still in Jevil, which explains how he created a miniature world in a tiny cell. Spamton, however, is also aware of Gaster's control, but wasn't able to break free, since more Determination is leaked into his soul. The player controlling Kris is already very experienced with a lot of battles, hence making the Determination stronger and therefore, is harder for Kris to escape. When the player isn't doing anything, Kris can take control for a little bit, before succumbing to the player's soul again. He knows that if he removes his own soul for too long, then he'll die, and his soul will be crushed under the weight of the determination, due to no support from his physical vessel. Then, the determination would crush the weakest area (the middle of the soul) and it rips apart. Then, it tears it to shreds, and leaves the soul. The soul would vaporize microseconds after the determination leaves, and the Determination is returned. With more and more Determination, Kris's soul becomes stronger and stronger, as long as there is a vessel to stabilize it. Once it gets strong enough, it's LV itself will increase, and with LV 2 he is able to deal more damage, and his physical stability is boosted, giving him an extra 68 HP in the dark world. Therefore, since the LV increased, it would have much more potential, and had a chance at breaking free of Noelle's Ice Soul spell. Noelle is nowhere NEAR as strong as Sans, since Sans killed a human that was *LV 19* 10+ times, and if Noelle did freeze Kris and kill him, their LV would increase to about 5. After that, Noelle would go on a killing rampage, and Sans, Undyne the Undying, Mettaton Neo and Asgore would be the last ones standing. Asgore would die first, then Mettaton Neo. Undyne the Undying would later fade away to dust, leaving only Sans. Sans dodges every attack Noelle throws at him, and Noelle is about LV 21. Sans proceeds to actually deal a heck lot of damage, and eventually kill Noelle. Keep in mind, LV is only REALLY useful on souls with the Determination property. So, that concludes it. If Kris were to die, and Noelle went on a killing rampage, Sans would stop Noelle, just like he did with Chara/Frisk. Noelle would never expect sans to hold such immense power and would be defeated almost certainly.
Interesting choice for the Hollow Knight Sealed Vessel ost as a theme for this fight, Would've loved if there was a remix of either berdlys theme or big shot remix. It would definitely fit here seeing as what you turned noelle into at the end of the chapter.
The worst part is Kris didn't even do this. We,the players did this,while Kris had no control. In other words...

We're the ones controlling them and and their actions, we caused snowgrave not them, they barely have any self control and tried to use to it to stop snowgrave but it didn't work (the two options when we get to the Berdly fight the one that went by "I'm protecting her from YOU" is Kris trying to end the snowgrave route and trying to protect Noelle from us the player)
After the snowgrave Berdly fight Susie asks why Kris looks so down with Ralsei immediately brushing it away

Honestly, if not for the "one ending" mentioned by Toby, I could think of something like this for real. After all, Deltarune's Dark Worlds seem to work pretty similarly to Undertale's world, where with enough LOVE, you can cut anything in two pieces in a second. I would have my doubts as to whether Noelle would still let herself in proximity of kris after the events of Snowgrave, to even be led to a point of a theoretical LV20, but then it would make sense that she would turn against you and start a truly unwinnable fight, right? Your LV2 Leader (Commands.) wouldn't do shit against this power, and neither would any of your party members.

It's Kris at the very end who has control again.. but it's too late, he is forced to fight against the creature we pushed to her limits... This is why the despair part happens.. Kris is scared, he doesn't know what to do...Just closes it's eyes and accepts their death.. finally in control...

Imagine an alternate ending where Noelle uses Snowgrave on Kris on the first turn.
But the soul ends up breaking free, then jamming itself into Noelle. Taking control of her body.
That power in the player’s hands, a terrible thought for those in the game.
