Seeing this I am reminded of something I learned back in I think 2018. The great-great-nephew and another prominent tribesman of the three group Tribe of Crazy Horse (the Lakota, the Nakota and Dakota?) were in Montpellier, Vermont for a book talk. They said that "family denotations" like "step" or "great" are totally Anglo-Saxon concepts. In Tribes' languages there are no such differentials. It's just Aunt or nephew or niece, not my niece with 3 greats attached to it.
Wado brother for such a powerful teaching!
