Steve Rogers is never happy. Every captain America movie he has to say goodbye to Bucky. Also he lost everyone he has every cared about.The reason why he is protective over Bucky is that Bucky is the only person and connection from his past. I agree he should have told Tony the truth about his parents but he made huge mistake. Steve connection with Bucky is way different than his other friends. Steve and Bucky have been friends for so long. Also Steve has so much guilt over what happened to Bucky and over so many other things. Steve deals with his feeling alone he never talks about his pain ever. In every movie you see how tired Steve is about his life and about fighting too. He really doesn't love his life that much. Steve deals depression,ptsd ,loneliness, not feeling good enough. Throughout his life he kept hearing that he wasn't good enough. He has been betrayed so many times, trusted shield and found the truth about shield. He has been bullied and beaten up when he was young, never got to meet his dad, mom died at a young age. He crashed the plane to protect he probable didn;t want to do but he did it to save people. He never get to date someone without worrying about other people. He lost his shield, symbolism as Captain America, freedom and now known as a criminal. He lost Peggy and lost Bucky yet again. I mean really how many times has he had to say goodbye to Bucky. Steve is human and if he makes a bad mistake then he is a bad person. He is such a good leader who is flawed but a good person. I understand he hurt tony but he feels bad for what he has done.

Because this is about Steve Rogers the person behind the shield that has lost everything, everyone, but keeps on going. Long time ago before I decided to watch Captain's solo movies I was thinking that ' Beside his pretty face and, those abs and muscular, he's just a man with a shield, he won't do any good for the team' and turned out that was the biggest mistake of calling myself an avengers fan. I don't know what people thinks but Captain's the core of the team, and somehow Chris Evans just, he's born to play this character. Cap always has the strongest vision, strongest will to make world a better place to live even he's lost so much, too much wounds that a normal person could take. I respect him for that. And happy belated Birthday, Cap. You're 100 years old now.
I wish the vision that Scarlet Witch gave Steve was in there, where he's in the dinning room with the celebration, but everyone disappears. It shows a soldier without a war, more so it shows himself alone. The reason he wasn't affected too much by the visions like the others wasn't because he didn't have a darkside or didn't show it. It's because already lives that hell everyday. What's even better, he still stays optimistic and still lives for the people around him.

I love Steve, he is so complex. On the surface, what everyone can see, is captain america. The soldier, the hero. But underneath that, there is Steve Rogers, the man that just wanted to do what was right. And he lost everything because of that.
Captain America is one of the most complex characters and I think you captured the internal struggles and his life story really well. People think he's so bland but he's my favorite because he lost everything and still pushes forward with life and still keeps fighting for the greater good. He embodies what I would and maybe other people want to be not a perfect person but a good man. This was amazing ❤️❤️. You captured Steve rogers and the internal battle amazingly.

This video beautifully illustrates how Steve isn't some super-hero, despite all that has happened and what the serum did, he's still- at heart- that 90Ibs young man who didn't like bullies, who wanted to help people, who wanted to be a good friend, and who is a good (not perfect) man. He is exactly what he was chosen for by Dr.Erskine, someone who had compassion and was all about heart.

It is a selfish desire to keep on saving and saving without thinking of the consequences, but that definitely makes him human and shows the trauma he went through as a soldier. Steve and Tony are two avengers who are fighting battles with themselves. Remember how in the Avengers they didnt get along at all and then they became the best of friends. Tony also felt so much hurt when he found out about his parent's murder because he really trusted Steve and he was hurt that Steve kept that thing from him.
I prefer Iron Man in the comics, and many can say RDJ is better actor than Criss Evans, but the MCU captain america is , to me, the best developed character.
It never really hit me how much Cap had to go through from health problems, death of his parents, bullying, living during the Great Depression, pressure of being the only super soldier of his time, trauma of war, Bucky’s “death”, crashing his plane and being frozen for almost 70 years, losing everyone he cares about, waking up in an unfamiliar time, Bucky coming back as the Winter Soldier, and that doesn’t even account for the trauma of being an avenger. He’s not bland at all, in his time especially as a man (and even now) and soldier, he just hides his emotions
