Overall quality of Merida > Overall quality of Jiujiang. And it's not close. Much deeper field. Stakusic, Montgomery, Korneeva, Samson(ova) are four VERY promising young players. Joint is another on the rise. Sorribes Tormo and Maria are tour mainstays, Bouzas Maneiro is another fairly young player surging, Polina Kudermetova has some intriguing potential, Tomljanovic is there, Blinkova is a tour level player and in form, Tsurenko is a tour mainstay. Not sure why this is a 250 in name only.
I thought Montgomery looked good a couple of years back but she hasn't kicked on. I still don't think it's a strong tournament and I think Jiujiang is slightly better. It's playing slow so Sorribes Tormo looking good but hopefully Li - ranked 111 - can cash.
@roryjiwani8958 fair enough. I suppose it's how you look at it. Jiujiang probably more quality up top, but I think in terms of depth I prefer the talent in Merida. Hope Boulter cashes as well for ya!

Bet Ann Li at -115 over Parrizas first round because of Rory. Easy dub. 6-0 6-4. Thanks guys.
Bet Stefanini -120 in first round on the advice of Rory's future bet. Another easy winner.
Shame she couldn't follow up but glad you were on for this one.
When will the news letter be released?

Looks like I was a week early with Sramkova. Sigh.
