This episode is a good example of how Carl isn’t some innocent guy who gets caught up in the aqua teen’s shenanigans but has a messy track record of his own and how unwilling he is to seek help from them when they’re offering.
To be fair, even Frylock doesn't offer much in the way of better solutions for problems the other two cause. Neither one of them is the good guy here, because even Fry has done some messed up stuff to Carl.
Oh totally(burying him alive, frequently aiding in stealing his car, the super toilet) but I’m saying that at first you’d suspect that Carl is a megward the wizard type character but no he’s actually kind of a b@stard and a good deal of what happens to him can be seen as karma.
I honestly love the way they switch places as the driving force/antagonists each episode. In a normal show he'd fall into an archetype as the annoyed neighbor who is a victim to their goofballery but he's written like a real person with much more nuance.
Carl is the best character in all animation history and Idc. His character was the perfect amalgamation of every Jersey asshole ever born. And the voice acting and script was always just 🤌🏽
I think after "Allen" it suddenly dawned on Frylock "Wait a minute...why do we even need the Danger Cart? I can fly." Yet Frylock STILL occasionally hijacks Carl's vehicle only to crash it or destroy it

Theoretically Carl should have been dead before this episode even started. The police officer hit Carl with a taser in the mouth and in the eye that's all connected to the brain. Let see: Once the target is hit, the taser sends a 50,000-volt pulse. Once deployed they are designed to pulse for five seconds unless the operator keeps their finger on the trigger. A standard stun gun can only be used at close range, while a taser can shoot someone from 20 feet away. So there no way in the hell Carl should be even alive after taking that.
This show, despite its craziness, is pretty consistent character-wise. I find it very odd Frylock is a Christian. The modern day science guy? It was a weird choice
It seemed like he wanted Meatwad to been get into it to teach him some morals. Maybe it just clicked with Frylock after that. But he's not as deep into it as the Bible Fruit were.
