Class 59s On Railtours.A Week Chasing Railtours.May 2024 - 4K

We start our week on the B&H for 2 tours featuring a Royal Class 67 & X2 47s.Then the Branch Line Society’s "Return of The Shedi" Railtour filmed at Didcot,Gloucester,Cardiff,Bristol & Hungerford.Then a trip west to Dawlish for X2 tours,1 steam & 1 with X2 37s.Finshing at Exeter for the 2nd days tour for The Branch Line Society with the "May The Fourth Be with You” tour these day trips raising funds for The Martin House Hospice.Full credit to the Mendip Freightliner boys for supplying 5 locos over the 2 days & DB & GBRf.

Wow Dave that was some video to watch, you did have a busy week catching all then tours on film.
Then on Saturday you went for three of them by train with good weather to make the day even better, I was on the 37s to Penzance. Great video Mike.

Cheers Mike,it was a good week especially with the 59s on railtour duties which is rare these days.Shame the weather was rubbish on Friday but better for Saturday.I did wonder if you’d be on the 37 tour as i remember it being cancelled last time,hope you had an excellent day out?
