I took a Cruel Pact at stage 2-1 so I could get a Prismatic Ticket to shurkou's house. The Infernal Contract turned my Tiniest Titan into an Impenetrable Bulwark and I used my Final Reserves to Level Up. I had a Phreaky Friday but in the end this was all a Cursed Crown as I went dead last. I am insane.

Nah, see the thing is, Shurkou doesn't have a 10% chance for Blitzcrank with every roll. He has 10% for a 4-cost. That 10% is then divided equally on all remaining 4-costs that aren't in play, on bench, or in someone else's shop. So when only 3 Blitzcranks are left in the pool and there's like 10 other 4-costs that still have all 10 copies left in the pool, it's extremely unlikely to find them. Yes, even with Shurkou taking 5 4-cost units onto his bench.

@pvshka he rolled 221 times looking for 2 blitzcranks, even if it's 0.5% chance to get a blitz with the remaining 4 cost pools the math doesn't add up
@@ConReese I did the math. There's 13 4-costs. The bag size is 10. That's 130 4-cost units. Subtract those in play, the opponents have none, he has 7 Blitzcranks. That's 123 units remaining in the pool. 3/123 is 2.4%, now divide that with the starting 10% chance for a 4-cost per roll and multiply by 5 slots, he has approximately 1,2% chance to find a the 8th Blitz on each roll. Which means the chance of not finding one is 98,8% (really makes you look at it differently). Apply the statistical loss streak formula (98,8%)^221 and you get that the chance of not finding a single Blitz was 6,64%. So yes, rather unlucky, seeing as he had a 93,36% chance to find the eight Blitz in those 221 rolls. Let's repeat the process for the 9th Blitz. If we're generous, he found the eight one on the first roll, which means 220 rolls remaining. The chance to find the 9th blitz with 220 rolls was 83,65%. The total chance to find Blitz 3 in 221 rolls was 78,09%. So yeah, while we're being a bit generous with the calculations here, brotherman still got super unlucky. Mustard.

Wouldn’t it have been so much smarter to go hedge fund instead which gives 40 gold then sit at 100 gold for 3 rounds which would give 30 gold interest plus win steak bonus, you’d make much more money than infernal contract gave and you’d be able to still go level 8 and actually hit the blitz
Yeah I honestly think Hedge Fund was the play, but I'm still unsure if he'd hit Blitz anyway.
I don't think it's easier to find Blitzcranks than finding 3 Kayns on level 7 (When you have 7 blitzcranks in your possession )
Yes it's a 10% chance for a 4 cost vs 1% chance for a 5 cost, but nobody's holding any 5 cost, and the particular 4 cost you're rolling for at 10% chance, there's just too few of them in the pool to find them on 7 (I feel like)
Although yes that was very unlucky to find none in the last few turns, rolling 100 gold with ticket - but I believe 3 starring it is extremely hard on 7, based on the multiplication of rarity

I am neither a statistician nor an expert in how tft shop rng works, but here is an attempt at quantifying the probability of Shurkou not hitting Blitz 3:
I think I heard somewhere that the rarity of the unit in each slot is calculated first and at level 7 the 4 cost % is 10%. The total pool of 4 costs is 12 units * 10 copies per unit = 120 minus 7 for the 7 blitz he already has is 113. Let's round down to 110 to account for him sometimes having 4 costs on his bench and other 4 costs appearing in shop(not sure if thats how it works). So, the chance of a 4 cost being blitz is 3/110. There are 5 units per shop, but lets say there are 4.75 to account for every 4th shop having 1 less possibility of a blitz for the headliner.
Therefore, the probability of each reroll having a blitz in it is: (0.1)(3/110)(4.75) = 0.01295 ~= 1.3%
Someone else said 221 rolls, so the probability of not finding an 8th blitz is (1-0.01295)^221 = 0.056 = 5.6% to not find an 8th blitz. Then, I couldnt figure out how to calculate the probability of not finding a 9th bc when you find the 8th the chance goes down so i just plugged shit into chatgpt and got this: there is approximately a 50.13% chance of the event not happening twice in 221 trials.

Not considering HoJ, at 15:00 mordekaiser had 7 stacks and 177 AP. At 24:17 he had 17 stacks and 187 AP. So I'm pretty sure it's +1 AP.
Morde's ability gives him +4 AP when he kills an enemy until the end of the round, that's why he gained more than +1 while fighting.

I did some math beacuse not finding one of the last three blitzcranks in 221 rolls seemed crazy, but he was actually not unlucky to not find a blitz. It was the expected outcome because of the high amount of 4-cost units left in the pool (enemies barely bought any) This is the tricky shit online casinos and lootboxes live for. Lol.
