UGH THANK YOU. I was in here and so freaking confused about how to do even the most basic things. I joined a quickplay and couldn't reload my gun - so often in games they have massive pedantic tutorials and this time I wanted one and didn't get it.

Yeah, I thought the only way to get the menu was to click on a person. Left menu button seemed to work sometimes on a run but not in the lobby, but now it just makes it pop up and then instantly close with a shrinking/flying away animation no matter where I am. I'll have to give clicking the right thumbstick a try...

So, any info on ammo types? Somewhere I heard that one of them does 30% more damage to regular snow breed and 30% less to specials. Don't know or this is true, nor do I know which color it was or any special stuff related to other colors. And any tips on how to break ice amor? Certain mutator runs will see snow breed fully suited up. What is the best kind of weaponry to break through? Or would you need certain chipsets/attachments. Loved the vid, started this game 5 weeks ago (it got a lot of new content since the vid by the looks of it). The skip calibration tip and the hold b to dump weapons I'll certainly use! Things of note for those still reading. - I'm pretty sure that manual reloading does 50% extra damage not harvest - By putting your grip mode on toggle. You can reload whilst duel wielding. Magazine will overwrite your weapon and as soon as you drop/insert the mag your weapon appears back in your hand.
Thought I have played a lot more RE4 (3 playthroughs or 35 hourse vs 8 hours) I was a smooth tactical reload expert in RE4. Often I will pull from my ammo bags and pull up my gun instead of magazine. Even worst I sometimes swap guns and still don't have a mag in hand. To be fair, RE4 didn't have multiple guns per hip but the mag grab was definitely easier in RE4.
Huh. I can't remember whether I thought it was better or worse, but it was a while since I played it. The games aren't really comparable though, despite both having zombies. All I know is the manual reload in After the Fall is cooler and more fun, but when you're getting swarmed, it's a serious disadvantage/liability. Sometimes I just drop 5 clips in a row trying to do it, and having a gun disappear and turn into a clip is really disorienting.

I have my gf who I play with, and we want to get 2 randos to join us... So I've found out how to add her as a party, I'm the party leader, then I go to the arcade machine and pick harvest run, and usually after waiting waiting a bit, people will join and then they'll be in our party, and it's fine... But it seems like sometimes, we're in our party with the two of us, but when I try to start a run, some other person is the leader...which would be ok I guess, but I think there were times when she wasn't even in the party...but then I cancel, and we're both in a party together with me as the leader. I try to do it again, and the same thing happens.
What a helpful video full of awesome tips! Ty. I do have a question about the sprint options in the settings. I can figure out what the other option besided toggle sprint does. In the heat of fighting off bosses of swarms and running away, i have a tendency to stop sprinting because i might let off the movement stick a little too much from hand fatigue, or accidentally press the thumbstick down again. I wish they had an autosprint option based on how far you move the stick a certain direction.

You forgot the most important thing about after the fall. If you're on quest 2 for the love of f****** god charge your headset before you start a game! I am so sick and tired of quest users running a lobby and then have their headset crash and we lose everything. Get your s*** together.
I agree, you really should have that headset charged before the game starts. Honestly if host headset dies it should randomly pass on host privelages after a short bit of time.
@@dianeko5574 z storm games is right, privileges should be passed on to another player and the original host should be able to return as a player. But until they fix all the problems with the game which should never have been released at this phase we ask that all quests to users make sure that they are fully charged before they start a game with a bunch of people who are relying on you to finish what you have begun. I've lost two more games because of the fact that quest 2 users don't know how to charge their system before they play. And it shows all of us how bad the battery really is for the quest 2.

I'm finding these red cards/tapes around the map, they have no name displayed and they seems to get absorbed in without any chime or mention once "grabbing" them... It's weird.
Manual gives a 50% damage boost which is why I use it but it’s annoying because sometimes when you hold a mag it goes back into your ammo belt but it’s a minor annoyance so manual in my opinion is better but dual wielding is a lot easier with basic reload so it’s up to you but I recommend manual

No benefit to waiting until the end and not sharing them. Found out that is a bug! Putting them in the arcade machine then clears out a wrist pocket, which at higher levels you always want your wrists filled with bombs/heals :) Hope that helps!
So what about the various problems in this game? When I tried to join a group hope the leader will hit start game and I'll still be stuck in the lobby room and if I'm lucky 5 minutes later it'll pop me in but it'll put me in the starting room and im unable to access the door or even buy anything.. Or when I invite somebody to a party or friend request they don't get The notification or if they do it doesn't show that they accept it? Do this day ive only ever done one run with other people.
Honestly suprised i saw all these reviews talking about the guns switching hands then i go to play and do my normal routine of checking settings and boom the turn off switching hands button was in front of my face. People are lazy af

Floppy disks are for gun attachments not guns, the guns are unlocked through story/mission progression(from Luna) 🔫

Yes we do have guns! Unfortunately do to the Quest having a XR2 Processor it is not able to handle the flashlights. Sorry about that!

Keep in mind with head orientation you cannot run in one direction and shoot in another. So you cannot run forward and look/shoot behind you.
Move the joystick in the opposite direction,it becomes second nature after a while

From what I’ve been told, all sight attachments are purely aesthetics. They don’t work or have any benefits.
I personally only like the reflex/red dot sight. It helps me on my assault rifles. Holo sight is just annoying to me haha!

They are randomized for every level

If you lost it, and then completed the run without it, either its gone forever, or the game refunded you the harvest for it!
