JOMTIEN BEACH HOTEL REVIEW 2024| Bayphere Hotel Pattaya (ex. Best Western Premier)

  • A real review of the Bayphere Hotel Na Jomtien based on a one-night stay in August 2023 (and paid for from my own pocket!). It's advertised as a 4 star hotel, and as with many hotels during low season they've got some special promotions to attract customers.
    I chose a deal which gave these benefits:
    An upgraded room
    A free meal with a choice of afternoon tea, moo ga ta, or pizza with beer!
    Full buffet breakfast
    The hotel is in the Na Jomtien area with direct access onto the beach. Facilities at the hotel include bars, restaurants, a rooftop swimming pool and jacuzzis, plus a fitness room.
    The bedrooms are modern and clean, and the bathrooms are really nice, too! But don't take my word for it. See everything before deciding, in this 10 minute video!

    Nice review. Hope your channel grows as these videos are fun and informative. I stayed in one hotel based on a previous review you did and it worked out well

    nice review BC, thanks......i could see what you were doing with the pastries........just showing viewers what's available but not really eating them!!, i have to say the scrambled egg looked spot on and would be my breakfast choice
    beautiful views from the roof pool and i bet it was quiet at night too😊😊😊

      Thanks, Tony! Yes, I was just protecting others from those pastries because I've heard they could be unhealthy if eaten in excess! Eggs tasted great; something to do with being cooked outside? And yes, hotel was quiet but still not far from Pattaya!

    Brilliant review again BC. Have never seen wine in a hotel fridge! Food choices looks excellent. Beer and Pizza option would be my choice as well. Breakfast looked especially as you mentioned . Bacon and homemade bread always a treat. Love the surrounding views as well. Will await the next adventure!

      Thanks, Ric. The fridge was fully stocked but I couldn't afford to buy anything. Of the three choices, I toyed with the afternoons tea option until she said the immortal words "free beer' ,and then there could be only one outcome!

    Per person or per room. good deal for 2 people with the meal choice

    • @balloonchaser
      @balloonchaser  ปีที่แล้ว

      The price (2890THB) is per room, includes breakfast for 2 and the meal. But that means you share your pizza, and it's about a litre of beer in the jug.

    A very nice hotel. Its just a bit far away from the city itself, which means that getting around mainly on foot (my preference) would be out. Instead you would be dependent on Bolt or (worse) motortaxis. This would probably be fine in the low season, but at times I had to wait 25 minutes on a Bolt when using the App, so not ideal. Maybe the hotel has a shuttle bus to the city? That was not mentioned as far as I heard.

      Thanks, David. Yes, nice hotel. If you just wanted a beach holiday you probably wouldn't have to move. But, yes, to get into pattaya without a car it's gonna be a Bolt or Grab taxi. That's the way I did it and it was cheap and quick, but then it's not high season. The hotel does have a shuttle bus but I didn't see it move. Maybe that ventures out in high season!

    Not a bad deal for a bit of luxury and a couple of meals.

      Thanks, Joe. Yes, the headline price looks a bit high, but it includes room upgrade, brekkie and another mea,l which makes it worthwhile I think.

    Does the baht bus to Pattaya go down as far as this hotel?

    • @balloonchaser
      @balloonchaser  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sadly not David. You'd need to get a Bolt taxi or Grab either from where you are or from the end of the baht bus route.

    Is there a songthaew or baht bus outside the hotel to central pattaya? 😊

    • @balloonchaser
      @balloonchaser  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, thanks. No, there's not, unfortunately. I had to take a Bolt from there. So it's a bit out of the way, but worth considering for a change!

      @@ogmaldita I did a review of the TJ hotel. That's in Jomtien on the baht bus route to Pattaya.
