He also hates when people ask him about Rides with Strangers which is why for the longest time he was blocking and deleting comments from anyone who asked about it, he REALLY hates when people have critiques about his games or him as a person.. going as a far as sending his Twitter followers after people who don’t kiss his ass, and then deleting the evidence of him doing that so no one will call him out. @@annaf2091 Not to mention WTTG2 is actually still kinda buggy or the anti-speedrunner changes hurt normal players. I stumbled into his applauding elevator exploit-catch just by strafing when searching for a greenspot to place my VPN, and I lost a run with 1 key left to go because the power went out and spawned noir at the same time as lucas and nothing would despawn whilst I was in the cupboard hiding. But hey, at least some obscure speedrunning glitches got fixed.
1:45:20 See that right there is the BS mechanics I meant in the last video's comments. Every game seems to have this, but at least there is a way to avoid it as you described. Just shouldn't be necessary. There's hard and then there's unfair.
I don't know if it's just me but i feel like there should be like a 5 or 10 sec grace period or something when the code changes so Lucas does not kill you immediately when the code changes like this 1:45:20
22:05 i'd bet the things change even when you're away so while you do all the travel to the roof, dealing with Lucas etc the things appear and vanish without you ever being able to report them since you were not at the pc. It's prob made like that to prevent cheese since things happen anyway without any player input so no messing with them like hacking manipulation from WttG
i assume it also can let you catch up since you can report 2-3 issues, do roof/hiding things, then go back to more things to report imagine if it didnt and you had to sit on the pc for at least like 30 minutes per ingame hour for stuff to spawn in
I think it’s really cool how events will disappear after awhile, unlike in observation duty, where they stick around the whole time. That way, leaving your desk is actually a genuine risk, bc you can miss an event (or multiple) while you’re out and about, especially if you’re accosted by multiple enemies in a row.
You had some rotten luck in this round!!! Hopefully the dev can work things out about Lucas and the immediate timer change - sucks that it’s unavoidable because there’s literally nothing you can do.
Not literally nothing- Lucas only attacks if you’re using your computer when he enters. So as Insym was saying, if you keep track of the timing, you can see the code change without being fully sat at the PC, and input it. But it is a ridiculous thing to have to do to avoid losing your entire run.
Yep... New addition to the killer roster: "El Taco" or as Insym calls him "Del F***o" once you see him, he's WTTG2's Lucas as he breaks into your room & kills you or he'll wait in any of the number floors room C. Also keep in mind this game is literally 1.0.0 meaning *BUGS EVERYWHERE!* or something might need to get changed later.
also mr Insym the flashing lights on the SECOND row of terminals in the server room are an anomaly - if you look in the back the server lights aren't always flashing but sometimes they are - like at 1:58:32 (anomaly) vs 1:57:21 (not anomalous)
Coming back here to say that I'm pretty sure this is an artifact of him streaming at a different frame rate than the game is running at (and the lights are blinking at), meaning sometimes the frames where the lights are on get skipped over. I'm almost certain that the lights are always blinking and it just sometimes appears to us like they aren't...
I think a really good strat is waiting till the code changes then go out for packages/antenna, This means there is a very low chance of the code changing, so you dont have to check the computer.
Yes but the code changes every 45 minutes, and that’s generally how long you get for packages, so if you get a package like halfway through, are you gonna waste 20-25 minutes of delivery time? Too easy to fail.
Basically, yes. Unlike Welcome to the Game, there is no end goal, just a beat the clock kind of playstyle. So the best you'll get is a run where you survive multiple dangerous encounters.
I love seeing people play this game, though I would never play it myself probably, solely because some mechanics would drive me insane (instant kill on code change etc.)
I really think it was an AMAZING idea for this dev to include a casual playing mode. I love how iconic this dev is for having challenging games, but I always found that I would watch them more than I would ever play them, because it was so challenging I felt like I would never get that satisfaction of completing the game on my own. I love how this game doesn't go easy on you, but provides a casual mode with save points. This makes the game feel way more accessible to me, and I think that's an awesome step for this dev :)
But the fact that you can't get the full story with the casual mode is just a sign that he's truly not changing for the better. Let's not forget what happens if you beat the easiest difficulty in Scrutinized, and how he's actually able to mess with the game while someone's playing it and can make the game impossible to win if you criticize the game, even jokingly. I do love the games but the creator is an asshole
I like how one person in chat says something like this - "You have thousdant eyes in chat, of corse you will be master of observation duty". Now im wounder how insym will beat all observation duty and WTTG without chat. That will be insteresting and long challenge.
He’s more old fashioned. He can lock pick doors but hacking into a security system is too much work, when he can just snipe. Though is he checking the lock then going outside to scale a skyscraper? Then back and forth? Also if I were the main character and knew someone was sniping me.. i’d just close my blinds.
By how this game is. It plays grreat, butni do think adam should do some grace times. That way there is no Noir glitch shinanigins. Like if the keypad code changes, lucas cant be actovated for 30 seconds or somthing. If you get rid of the noir on the roof should be the same. That way there still just as common but no bullshit kills. And he can make it alot smaller time wise. Just makes it feel fair
@@jonwatkins1503 There’s a video by Spaceman Scott about Markiplier and his experience with welcome to the game 2 I recommend you look up for a full explanation; but it was confirmed the developer was able to screw with people’s games if they were connected to the internet and a popular theory is he made Mark’s game impossible to win because Mark was criticizing the game. The dev, Adam, is kind of a self aggrandizing douche bag who hates criticism too which lends a bit of credence to the theory.

It still was a pretty fucked up death, like immediatly after the code changed he was dead, also dont think he could have done something there (maybe once we learn more abt the game but damn that was a messed up death xD)
@@dephtcore That had to be a different mechanic than the door lock. Insym got up literally 2-3 seconds after the code change. There was zero reaction window if code change is supposed to be the only factor for Lucas there.
You actually do not have to turn off the lights with Lucas in "sniper mode". I'd guess leaving lights on would take him a full minute to leave. At least leaving the lights on protects you from both Noir killers.
I'd wager Adam learned a thing or two from the "Noire Glitch" in WttG2 (noire spawning right on top of your hiding spot), so that's something at least. Still, faster time leaving + Noire is still < 1min... If it matters at all
That Lucas thing with the code changing and him instantly being in the room seems like such an obvious oversight that I find it hard to believe it's unintentional. Knowing Adam, well... Hopefully a small grace period gets added on code change. Like literally 20-30 seconds.
From whay i can tell, The female Noir, you know your close enough if she either: Tilts her head upwards and then lowers it again, or stops saying come closer, as for the male Noir, just get close enough for your flashlight to highlight their entire body, that should be close enough, as for lucas, just regularly check when sat, if your on the roof, stay near the hiding spots, and if you get a noir and lucas spawn right after eachother, get lucky with the speed lucas spawns, I also saw that, if the lazer spots you, you wont die immediantly, but if you sut at the computer without the door locked, or enter the elevator and go to a diffrent floor, lucas will kill you, so, you could hide if you get spotted, and wait, but im not entirely sure. Sorry if you already know this, i just thought this might be helpfull to someone.
Shit, now they just need to bring the Breather back haha. Would be fun seeing how they’d implement him in this new game alongside all the new mechanics and a new enemy.
I think that taco man underground bugged occurred, because you turned off you light on the same frame you got in the bed, and he sensed your light the moment you turned it off. all this combined to result in him grabbing you like you were standing with you light even though you were under the bed. so he ended up just caring you on his feet.
I noticed that the light changed in the server room. sometimes it blinks a different color and sometimes it stops blinking just lights up. Idk which report that is but I hope I can contribute to you eventually beating the hardest mode 🤯 Idk if you read this but if you do KEEP up your amazing videos 💪
I find the PC part of this game far less interesting than Welcome to the Game. It's just a barebones 'I'm on observation duty' minigame. Welcome to the Game had a lot more to it and all the weird websites made it overall much scarier.
I am genuenly enjoying this at a level which words cant describe. Even though you didnt manage to beat it, I had so much fun watching this video and hoped that you won even though the game bugged which made the timer fucked up as well as the anomalies leading to you loaing. Cant wait fpr the next one 😊.

great question. I say that the landlord probably doesn't care/never built the stairs. or just the games design.
I kinda assumed that there are stairs we just don't see them in the gameplay
hopefully there’s fire escapes from the window like the apartment in WttG2
I'm pretty sure that the ending where Clint escapes dooming the woman he was supposed to save is the canon ending.
I think, that Shade was the one, who helped him by deliverig him different gadgets with his drone network.
You can tell the dev really did hate speedrunners when the sequel is a mandatory passage of time compared to completing it faster based on skill.
I'm not sure, he's a really weird strange guy from what I've seen, but maybe he's a better person now
@@SadMatteno, Adam has a deep seeded hatred for speed runners. That’s why he was so quick to fix every exploit in WTTG 1 and 2 used by speed runners to complete the game faster. Anytime a new one was found he was right on top of it and it suddenly was no longer useable. Adam hates speed runners. He also can’t stand the idea of releasing a game that *doesn’t* include some sort of self-aggrandizing, narcissistic, ass-pat character of how he sees himself. Adam from WTTG1, Adam from WTTG2, Tanner in Scrutinized, Adam in this game…
He’s just not a good dude.
@@JM_Traslo😮wow the tea is real 😅
@@JM_Traslo *clutches pearls* the SPEEDRUNNERS!! The REAL concern, here!!!😫
1:45:20 See that right there is the BS mechanics I meant in the last video's comments.
It's prob made like that to prevent cheese since things happen anyway without any player input so no messing with them like hacking manipulation from WttG
i assume it also can let you catch up since you can report 2-3 issues, do roof/hiding things, then go back to more things to report
imagine if it didnt and you had to sit on the pc for at least like 30 minutes per ingame hour for stuff to spawn in
I think it’s really cool how events will disappear after awhile, unlike in observation duty, where they stick around the whole time. That way, leaving your desk is actually a genuine risk, bc you can miss an event (or multiple) while you’re out and about, especially if you’re accosted by multiple enemies in a row.
just finished part 1 and then this got released
same… the happiness when we finished the first Dead Signal video and found out there’s a new one :)
I was pretty close to finishing the first one when this dropped
fun fact: he recorded this right after the first part on stream!
Same and I screamed 😮😂
You gotta be faster haha
You had some rotten luck in this round!!! Hopefully the dev can work things out about Lucas and the immediate timer change - sucks that it’s unavoidable because there’s literally nothing you can do.
😊😊😊😊
Not literally nothing- Lucas only attacks if you’re using your computer when he enters. So as Insym was saying, if you keep track of the timing, you can see the code change without being fully sat at the PC, and input it. But it is a ridiculous thing to have to do to avoid losing your entire run.
everytime lucas appears (the laser) i just lean to the side like im the one who's about to get shot lmfaooo this is so funny to me
that's how you know this is a good game, when not even the spectators feel safe LOL
The chat helping you through the entire playthrough is so wholesome 😭❤️
Compared to CaseOhs chat that roasts him and gives him false information 😂
I agree. Makes me want to see what it was like when he was learning WTTG2 speed run Strats when chat wasn’t helping.
To summarize this whole video…
Chat: Why aren’t you playing on Nightmare mode?
Insym: THERE IS NO NIGHTMARE MODE
Dang good eyes
Coming back here to say that I'm pretty sure this is an artifact of him streaming at a different frame rate than the game is running at (and the lights are blinking at), meaning sometimes the frames where the lights are on get skipped over. I'm almost certain that the lights are always blinking and it just sometimes appears to us like they aren't...
@@IAmUnderscore oh very interesting thank you for updating!!
This game is probably impossible to speedrun since there isn’t really anything you can do to shorten the night
It's almost like the dev hates speedrunners or something. Hmmmm 🤔
You can still "speedrun" it just wont be that fast
@@nishnash4529it's like saying 'just wait faster'.
Nah it's able to be speedrun, it's just that the final times are going to be within ms of each other. Like how people speedrun Fnaf 1
@@LaVanilleChai Hoe stop spamming unneccessarily.
@@sirnunyabuiz6529 LMAOOOOO I FELL ASLEEP WATCHING THIS ON MY PHONE AND NOW REALIZING WHY I GOT NOTIFICATIONS! 💀💀💀 OOPS
I like how one person in chat says something like this - "You have thousdant eyes in chat, of corse you will be master of observation duty".
Now im wounder how insym will beat all observation duty and WTTG without chat. That will be insteresting and long challenge.
I just thought of something, how good of a Hitman is Lucas because he can’t get through a secured door but Noir & the cleaner can lol
I think the implication is that it’s all a game orchestrated by the big bad, so the enemies are following rules to make it more entertaining
He’s more old fashioned. He can lock pick doors but hacking into a security system is too much work, when he can just snipe. Though is he checking the lock then going outside to scale a skyscraper? Then back and forth? Also if I were the main character and knew someone was sniping me.. i’d just close my blinds.
Hopefully dev will fix these bugs and not ignore them in favor of speedrun bugs like WTTG2
YAYAYAY I was hooked after watching part 1!! Bless your soul for never making me wait too long for the next part of your videos 😊
Insym on his way to call every game "Welcome to the game 3" (he can't resist to the voices)
It's basically the same, so why not?
@sirnunyabuiz6529 but its funny because he's called games "welcome to the game 3" before, several times
the elevator music is called 'Ski Safari 2 Shop Music' , Rich Brian used it as a sample in his song 'History'.
Just remember don't criticize the game or the developer will ruin your experience lol.
yepppp he's such an ass
U watching all the same utubers I'm watching neat
Wait what happened with another TH-camr
@@jonwatkins1503 There’s a video by Spaceman Scott about Markiplier and his experience with welcome to the game 2 I recommend you look up for a full explanation; but it was confirmed the developer was able to screw with people’s games if they were connected to the internet and a popular theory is he made Mark’s game impossible to win because Mark was criticizing the game. The dev, Adam, is kind of a self aggrandizing douche bag who hates criticism too which lends a bit of credence to the theory.

I think, that Delfaco is a reference to the joke that in WTTG2 is a cleaner named Luigi, that's why maybe he is referenced as a "Cleaner".
Did DelTaco seriously 'Just Monika' the game so he could steal Insym away to a secret place? Love that.
When Mr. Deltaco I came onto the screen, my heart jumped lol. I was NOT expecting that, but it was pleasant to get scared by something new.

FYI Insym - A description for each report type can be seen in the tutorial. We see it mostly covered by you at 1:39
At 1:45:27 when Lucas got you, the bathroom door was open. You can see it open when you get up to look behind you for the Noir people. I don’t think you’ve been going in there. Could this be a sign that someone is inside the apartment?
wasnt it open around 1:31:20 as well though.
mightve been left open from delfucko’s visit
I think that's from when DelTaco came to get him and searched the house.
It still was a pretty fucked up death, like immediatly after the code changed he was dead, also dont think he could have done something there (maybe once we learn more abt the game but damn that was a messed up death xD)
You sure the door just wasnt left open by DelTaco?

If it matters at all
Insym, if you are curious, there is a rap song that uses the elevator music as the baseline beat, its called History by Rich Brian
1:09:00
Oh nice! I love DelFucko's mechanics
delfucko lmaooo
Just watched last dead signal episode, you have really good timing.
This is the least secure serurity system I've ever seen! The door code randomly resets and this UNLOCKS the door in the process?! Absolutely insane
I think its to prevent the user from being locked outside the room. Still very veery insecure
Yeah, you can't even go to sleep, thieves and other criminals can just barge in through your door while you sleep and it unlocks!
That Lucas thing with the code changing and him instantly being in the room seems like such an obvious oversight that I find it hard to believe it's unintentional. Knowing Adam, well... Hopefully a small grace period gets added on code change. Like literally 20-30 seconds.
51:55 I think that she does her head tilt when you're close enough
Lucas is just door camping until your code changes, what a goober.
Defalco is basically a combo of Lucas and Breather
Id also love to see the kidnapper
My dog thinks I'm a physco that noir jumpscare at 1:05:58 scared the crap out of me.
I think that taco man underground bugged occurred, because you turned off you light on the same frame you got in the bed, and he sensed your light the moment you turned it off. all this combined to result in him grabbing you like you were standing with you light even though you were under the bed. so he ended up just caring you on his feet.
31:50 i was so confused when i heard the hitman talking polish LMAO
I noticed that the light changed in the server room. sometimes it blinks a different color and sometimes it stops blinking just lights up. Idk which report that is but I hope I can contribute to you eventually beating the hardest mode 🤯
