I have two versions, the original and the remaster with "DEATHRIDE" which is just Panzer Riffs, singing.

I remember getting that "metal Badge" version from Germany couple months before the actual release -and when I got this Album, It just blew me the fuck away... for that time this was the best Marduk besides "Opus Nocturne"cheers.

Last saturday they opened their gig with Panzer division Marduk. They were excellent! (Infernal War got cancelled, which sucks but is a whole other story.)
I remember listening to the vinyl at the recordstore and being blown away! I was 16, had no money and had to go back for it a couple of days later. Being new to bm, Immortal was the most violent thing I had heard before this. Eventhough I'm not their biggest fan, this is one of the best bm albums ever.

Such a masterful album and my favorite! So many unrelenting and punishing hymns like Baptism by Fire, Blood Dawn and the lovely Fistfucking God's Planet. The ultimate Half Hour of Power!! Great video my friend!! 👍🏼👍🏼

While Metallica's "Master of Puppets" and Mötorhead's "Overkill" would be the first steps to sculpt the sound of what would become my future serious main band. This Marduk release has a very special place in my heart for several reasons.
Here are the main ones: First, in terms of sound and musical production, like the aforementioned albums and in their continuity, listening to "Panzer Division Marduk" for the very first time was another step forward into artistic stormish, fierceness, brutality and nightmarish creativity.
And second, as far as arts and I, the Historical geek, are still concerned this Masterpiece proved right me playing both extreme metal and History can be linked.
So, indeed this Opus deserves to be a Classic and THE Marduk Classic and by far.
I also love listening to their "Viktoria", "Frontschwein", "Iron Dawn", "Here's No Peace", "World Funeral", "Nightwing", "La Grande Dance Macabre", "Deathmarch", "Plague Angel", "Heaven Shall Burn ...".
As always, great review Jerry! Cheers man!

That used to be my favourite Marduk until PDM. I still have a "Heaven shall burn..." t-shirt (in bad shape) somewhere in my closet.

yeah. It's a Brutal Album: I think really all the Album's w/ Legion on Vokills kill in one way or another except the LA grande...which had some pretty good Songs on there; I just don't think the Band as a whole were completely behind Marduk by then and the Intro could've been edited out...you know? but when they released "Plague Angel" with Arioch aka Mortuus on Vokills, Marduk had some new Blood an he seemed to breath new Death into the Band Imo. I'm still trying to decide if I'm really going to be able to get into the new ALBUM? cheers.
