Thank you, Daniel! My first organ teacher was fond of playing this work, back in the mid 1970's. You Hauptwerk console appears to have new wooden-core keyboards, replacing the original Yamaha units. Presumably these feels better under the fingers.
I’ve had the wooden-core keyboards for quite a while now. They are the old ones from Bradford Cathedral, and they’re much more realistic. The Yamaha units were too light.
@@DanielCookOrganist Those keyboards were a most fortuitous acquisition! Were they from the 1977 Walker rebuild, or from the 1961 HN&B work? They go perfectly with the Kimber Allen pistons.
