when you are rejecting the rule change after the league changes it negates any rules that we're in the league changes (for example, the worst team have increased odds rule at 14:12 the section after that you rejected that same rule) so just gotta keep an eye out for those sort of things, love the content though and keep on keeping on my guy :)

@@Pyrovile42 it actually does work at the extremes for certain stats, like the reason Bill Russell averages a million blocks in 2k is cause his foul is very low and his block tendency is 99 or 100, sure he has 99 block but I tested it in like 2K19 or 20 and even a custom player without badges, ~50 block attribute and 100 block tendency will get 5+ a game easily, it works for BR cause he's the greatest shot blocker ever but for other guys it can be really goofy.

If you want it to be realistic you should leave the rule changes as they happen. The game announces which ones are historic and you change them to rejected on the rule change screen so you move on w the same old rules instead of the game and league adapting as it did in real life

@@wonzaga2643 of course you can. And if you start in the later eras you can revert the rules to the way they were back in the day (zone defense illegal, only 2 referees on court, etc). You can even reject the team branding changes as they happen (new logos, jerseys, and court designs) and keep the old designs instead
What people don't realize is the old rules help lebron. At 6'9 260 and his strength you let him hand check and no one is getting by him.
i think putting 60s players in the new era would be interesting, like see if wilt is as dominant as he was or if bill wins 11 chips again

@@Siggy29 ha yes they didn't add anything only 90s commentary and new scoreboard, the rest were already in the game the draft classes still have way too many auto generated people which will take you out of the immersion, its basically the same as last year mykeague never gets anything new, now in fairness I haven't seen a proper myleague so hopefully there will be new additions

Day three of asking for this. So you trade finder every player on your roster. The catch is that you only have one season to win a championship. And within that one season, you can only make 20 trades. If you can't win a championship, you go to a new random team, and do it again.

My eras is the best part of 2k23 to me. The broadcast playing in the magic bird era like watching on a old model television. Seeing Jordan in the draft prospects class along with all the others.
2K REBUILD IDEA: Do the Phil Jackson Challenge with the three peats and more if you can with the Knicks, Bulls, and Lakers in that order. To make it harder you can also try to get a real player some rings then sim until they retire and become a coach then do the challenge

Although this may be somewhat interesting, what I'd actually be more interested in seeing is the exact teams in the Finals playing with LeBron and Jordan switching teams. Put Jordan with the actual players who were on the court for the Cavs, Heat, and Lakers on the floor and play that team against the exact players who were on the floor for the Spurs, Mavs, Warriors and Heat. Remember, Kyrie and Love weren't actually on the court in one of the Cavs-Warriors Finals. Then do the same thing by putting LeBron in Michael's spot on all of those Bulls teams and simulate those against the exact teams they faced in the Finals. The Bulls were always favored in their Finals series. Many of LeBron's teams were underdogs in those Finals series. See how those simulations play out. In general, I believe LeBron had more teams with a weaker roster and stronger competition. In general, the Bulls were the stronger roster and therefore had weaker competition (not weaker teammates). This is hard to put together, but it would be more interesting to me to see how all of those 16 different Finals play out in simulation.

The NBA in general glosses over both Pistons squads, the original "bad boys" and the "going to work" squad of the 2004 championship.
But I also get the bad boys not being an "Era" per se. They were more of a transition between eras. Had they won more championships then they would have to be considered an era.
