Thank you so much for this "extra help" haul. I can personally attest to the squatting stool. I had to go to the ER several years ago due to impaction and using a squatty potty was one suggestion the ER nurse gave me. So, I bought a small folding stool that I place under my feet when I use the "loo", and I've had no issues since. Also, I had surgery on my right pinky bc it was dislocated in an accident (clumsy me...), and it has been curled and non functioning ever since. My PT suggested I use boading balls to regain/maintain manual dexterity in my right hand, and I also use chopsticks. Last but not least thank you so much for sharing today's bible verse. I really needed it. God bless and keep you.

Oh my dear Heather. I too had a multiple level lumbar fusion in 2019. I have plates, rods and screws. Plus 3 of my vertebrae has fractured and glued back together. As a result of the surgery my SI joints on both sides have collapsed causing more pain than before the fusion. December 19th I had a fusion on my right side and in 4 weeks I'll have the left side done. I've been a prisoner in my own body for 5+ years and how does one stop the depression and find enjoyment anymore? I'm alone and family just doesn't understand why I'm in so much pain when I look ok. It's hard not having anyone to talk to that understands the toll this takes on one's life.
Most of the items you have shown are ones I've already purchased. The one I haven't come across is the car seat. I'll be ordering that with my next order. Thanks for bringing so many useful items to share with those that too are handicapped.

Heather, I have to say this, you are looking incredible to say you recently underwent surgery and I love your hair down, I love the shape of your dress the way the straps go and the colours in your dress are so pretty. You are an inspiration to me because we have both suffered acute back pain and other issues. It’s great when you take us from opening the item to assembly, and by the way you help us to see what each item helps.I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are my inspiration. Amen very helpful gadgets be careful with the grab bar bought one for my moma and it wasn't very sturdy but again it could be the type of surface she had in her shower.. Love the bible verses you share hope you have a blessed evening

Hi, I have the handle for the car to get in and out of. I don't know if you know this, but the one end is a seatbelt cutter and the pointed metal end on the handle will break a windshield in case of emergency. Mine also has a light. ❤ I've had back surgery also. A great video. ❤

Can you tell me please, does the car seat fit All cars because I get in different friends car when I go to my place of worship twice a week so it would be handy for me or when I need a taxi it would be of benefit to me so I can just sit and swivel the correct way to take the pressure off my spine. I just saw your walking stick and I rely on mine but mine has a gel handle which shines in the dark so if I don’t want to wake my husband when I need the bathroom my stick will illuminate, I think that’s the right word, but the ferrule on the bottom also shines in the dark. I live in the UK as you know, mine is adjustable but because I’m only 5ft short I have to take it to my disability store and they will cut a small amount of the metal, I think it’s aluminium to get it to the length that’s comfortable for me. It is really useful, I live in a flat/ apartment and it’s very dark because we don’t have many windows to lighten the place.
It will fit in any car and is very helpful ❤
