Even if the emissions are worse on modded cars (which is very likely the case), you need to take into account the fact majority of them sees very little running time. eBay won’t get fined they can’t because they don’t technically sell anything they give other people the ability to sell things but Amazon I wish they would find Amazon because Amazon can’t afford to beat them and set a precedent in the courts that would shut this down immediately
Just an FYI even if electric cars are charged exclusively with a coal burning power plant they are way more efficient than gas cars, in countries that have a lot of renewables they are around 70% more efficient than burning gas and diesel. The main limit with gas engines is mechanical inefficiencies and the amount of oxygen available to burn. Hence why nitrous adds so much power. It adds more oxidizers so you can dump in more gas. I'd post a link to the Forbes article summarizing the study but I don't wanna get shadow banned.

I guess if they won't let y'all have petroleum track race cars and maybe you'll have to double and make a couple of electric race vehicles to show them that there is competitive market in both areas of racing not only what the EPA wants done is what needs to be done among the racing community prove to them that it's not modification of petroleum type vehicles awesome modifications of electric type vehicles too this gives a whole new meaning to drag racing
Planned Obsolescence, the Big 3 is in with the EPA. I've fought the "it's making it cleaner" when installing modern fuel injection engines into 1960's classic Fords. Can't argue it's cleaner than the 50 year old carburetor when they'd rather those vehicles not be driven ever again. They want us all to buy a modern EcoBoost, Mach-E, or E-Lightning.
@@tarajoe07 it's greedy unregulated free market capitalism. The auto manufacturers only make money on the new vehicles. Warranty repair costs them money (why they don't pay full hourly rate for recalls and a warranty job, they get discount). They make very little doing repairs on vehicles out of warranty. Used car sales and independent repair shops cost them money. The auto manufacturers would prefer we all bought new cars every 5 years, and all the used cars were abandoned behind the body shop or in a junkyard totalled out. If they could find a way to legally disable a vehicle without a safety recall after 5 years or 60,000 miles, they would do it. Thankfully were finally getting progress on the Right to Repair laws. Right to Repair and the EPA regulated emissions are going to conflict each other. Because the emissions testing in most jurisdictions only goes back 25/30 Model years. Probably best to leave vehicles that new alone in those States, there are lots of vehicles people will enjoy upgrading without being stalked and tested if you go back 25/30 years. Besides the sema aftermarket parts suppliers, there aren't any advocates for making horsepower that might harm the original emissions output of the vehicle. While the jurisdictions that test back to the clean air act date of 1976, they don't believe even a modern engine swap is better, they're the States pushing these vehicles off the roadway and forcing us to purchase new boring vehicles.

Yess i cant wait for the science behind it i have always supported the deleted components and i have always thought the def and the heavy extra parts are useless
Keep up the pressure!!!! We cant keep bending over and taking this!! We all need to stand together for the freedoms we have left
I love it I would trust JH to do the test of this stuff and be the most honest and transparent we all know the government and big manufacturers are just looking out for themselves
EPA covered up the Flint, Michigan oil spill from BP.. They can do whatever they want. Videos of people shoveling up oil out of the river systems for drinking.
Good luck on your fight
i hope your findings change the future, great info, great job JH. lets go aftermarket ecu's for the clean burn win!
The shot from the roof with the smoke was awesome . Great job 👏
you keep rite on talking My Husband and I love your content and you have our full support.
Make videos of that, I’ve been sayin this for years! I had a truck I went through the engine in, cut the cats and all emissions off. It tested cleaner than the brand new one we tested in our college auto diesel class
Your machine probably isn't calibrated to the proper specifications that they see as the standard. They will say whatever to win.
@@panikmike bingo
Wasn't MY machine, it was the schools. as for the calibration who knows we're talkin 1996. But yeah im probably full of shit
I’m a Ford guy but theirs just something about that CUCV! It’s badass
I live the good ol country boy drinkin beers playing with cars life so I love this channel. We do drags and rounds round and dirt bikes and sxs's.. but its all the same keep it up boys! Love it!
Keep fighting and educating people about it
Interesting move with the analyzer. If you are really going that route I recommend you get yourself an experienced analytical chemist, one with knowledge in emissions. Not going to be easy but I am curious as to what results you will get. Wish you lots of luck!
I got a personal email back from one of my representatives. They're 100% for passing the RPM act. So Oklahoma is at least for it. And you're 100% right about where will the line be drawn. Like this could give them the ability to fine you for anything they wanted because they think it's a performance part. We need them to focus on other things that actually make a difference. Like funding research into alternative fuel sources.
Still doesn't protect classic car owners and restorers
@Joey Diaz you nailed it. Always dangling that carrot while they spin up new wars and spend us into oblivion
You hit the nail on the head with the EPA they will never stop
Keep up the fight and I like being informed. Everyone should be talking about this.
There was a guide back in the eighties that produced a pill to put in water a pill to put in water and her vehicles could run on it. In northern Nevada.
Looked like a wild ride with how much them vipers were leanin
Thanks for talking about the EPA , Honestly it's kinda aggravating that all the automotive TH-cam channels out there and some of them I watch don't use their platform to get the word out more about contacting our U.S representatives and signing the RPM act .
Only reason JH is getting the word out is he has been fined. He isn't doing it as a community service.
@@sexyfacenation OK so what's your point ? He got fined he is paying for it . So it's doing no good for him to talk about it ?
@@ryantannehill4060 my point is it is odd peple are giving him credit , and looking at others negatively, as all is he is doing is talking about what happened to him.
@@sexyfacenation Others have been fined and not talked about it . And some have been fined and talked about it . I'm glad that he is talking about it . I would think everyone in the motorsports community would be happy about it .
I wonder if amazon/ebay will be fined for selling emissions modification parts
Of course not.
That’s a damn good point think of the size of a fine they could get from that they could sponsor their scumbag dreams for years i’m from Canada so I’m not exactly sure how everything works down there in fact I’m not sure how everything works up here the rules change so often it’s crazy but they should have to go after Amazon if they go after one guy they should have to go after them all and it would be great if they went after Amazon because they’ve got the lawyers who could beat something like this and set a precedent for everyone else in beating this bullshit if they really cared about the environment in this situation they would set it up like we used to have where your car had to pass emissions testing it’s not what parts you’ve got on the car but as long as they didn’t make the emissions that came out of the car worse you were OK that way everybody wins but no this is obviously a 100% cash grab because they’re not going after the guys that could beat them and they’re not actually trying to do anything to change the situation for the better they’re just handing out fines to people they know can’t afford to fight them so are forced to pay them or starve which is what they will do after they pay them I wish you guys the best of luck
eBay won’t get fined they can’t because they don’t technically sell anything they give other people the ability to sell things but Amazon I wish they would find Amazon because Amazon can’t afford to beat them and set a precedent in the courts that would shut this down immediately
I'm all good with you teaching everyone about the EPA situation and I'm not even in the USA
The epa did the same thing with 410a in the late 2000s. As they are trying to do with ethanol Alot of big havc manufacturers went to bat to keep 410a.
It’d be interesting to see how much sauce you can make with a 6.5 in that CUCV.
You guys love what your doing that's the best thing about your channel always remember that sometimes the stuff going on and things get in the way of spending time working towards your goals, if you can retain the positive focus in your direction unlimited are the achievable goals mearly your imagination and creativity will deliver the outcomes as long as your focus remains present and positive opportunity becons we are not alone here
I'm glad that I get to watch your vidz u give a lot of info on the EPA keep up All the good work hell yeah brother
Loud and proud great job
Sports entertainment in general...rally...motocross...monster trucks...nascar...dont they mod their engines?...
Sandlot looks like a blast guys.
JH your channel went from just entertaining to informative and very interesting. Excited to see the tests.
Hell yeha test everything for yourself dont believe anyone!!!!! Hell yeha brother your the best keep up the great work we stand with u take this as far as u can let us know if u need anything
Bottom line, need smaller government. They're like every IT department, mess things up just to be the heros
Just like opening offices for the DC police in Cali and Florida. Why are they expanding their reach
I'm really interested to see what comes out during regeneration. In my F-550 work truck when it going regeneration while stationary is enough to make you gag.
Keep talking about it mate. Listening from New Zealand...
Very true on ethanol gas. When we switched fuel's all my vehicles lost 3 miles per gallon In a 24 gallon tank that's 60 miles less Evey tank. Not to mention all the issues that came with it to our older vehicles. We're wasting more fuel but there making more money because the hole world is using more.
I mainly click for the EPA information. The other stuff is just a bonus.
I wish more people would speak about the rpm act and what the EPA is trying to do to what people enjoy.
Yep free country!
You have to pay the fine. It’s called the clean hands act. You can’t go into court against the EPA with outstanding tickets!
Hope you get this win
Don’t forget to mention how they wanna use less plastic too but that’s all that they’re def fluid comes in and that’s so good for the environment too isn’t it
A "what about...." argument is worth absolutely zero.
We are with you, time to take EPA with the facts.
“Who knows how long it’ll take or how lawyers will cost”
THATS what they want. They DO win by you paying, JH. I’m not sayin don’t do it. I get it, you did it, you have to pay the price. But these other shops DONT have that issue sometimes. And they still have the “cant afford to battle w lawyers” problem. THATS what they want. They know these small shops can’t battle and that’s why they pick fights w y’all
I’m glad your gonna do these test I been wanting to know myself for years if it was a scam or legit
I guess if they won't let y'all have petroleum track race cars and maybe you'll have to double and make a couple of electric race vehicles to show them that there is competitive market in both areas of racing not only what the EPA wants done is what needs to be done among the racing community prove to them that it's not modification of petroleum type vehicles awesome modifications of electric type vehicles too this gives a whole new meaning to drag racing
you should watch videos of the sand dune climbing they do in the middle east, stuffs pretty cool
Ive watched a few of those vids....hell yea brother those dudes got some straight up rippers over there
KEEP TALKING ABOUT THE EPA! THIS IS WHAT WE NEED
This government over reach needs to talked about!!!!
Best explanation yet
If JH goes missing we all know what happened protect this man
Could be season 2 of chillin with chet. Check his channel if you don't know what I mean
Can you do a walk around on your dually? That thing is a beauty and gets no love on the channel!
Ding ding ding. Corporatism rules our government these days
@@RJ_Cormac no. That's not free market
We will help support this let us know everything we need to do
