I'm sorry if I mess anything up, but these are some things I saw that didn't work: 1. At 10:45, Matt used the Engorged Gluttony Dogma to eat Tank Mammoth and call it back. However, Gluttony was already Engorged. Is that allowed? 2. During the Engorge turns, Matt didn't boost the VG when they attacked because he was gonna Engorge them. But I was told the boost remains even if the unit dies. Is that not true? Again, sorry if I mess anything up. It's just that I also play Gaia Tachikaze, so I want to know if I've been playing wrong this whole time.
Matthew Dexter 1) Engorge is not once per turn. While the restand effect is once per turn, the ability to engorge is simply on attack. 2) If a booster leaves play it is no longer considered boosting, hence the power no longer applies.
Matthew Barber Ok. Thanks for telling me. I assumed the boost was adding the power, thus temporarily reducing the boosting unit's power to zero, and that added power would not be removed upon retiring.
Dear Matthew Dexter We recently emailed Bushiroad about the question whether Gluttony Dogma can retire rearguards after it re-stands through its engorge skill Sadly, Gluttony Dogma cannot retire more rearguards after it has become "Engorged." Therefore, when Gluttony Dogma re-stands, it cannot retire more rearguards when it attacks through the engorge skill. The reason being is that when a unit is already in the engorged state, it can no longer retire more rearguards using the engorge skill. This applies to "Explosive Dragon, Sarcoblaze" and "Beam Dragon, Apatomaser" as well. If they are re-stood by Stand Trigger, they cannot retire more rearguards through their engorge abilities because they are still in their engorge states till the end of the turn. Because the keyword Engorge is a state (much like Brave and Blaze), a unit that it Engorged cannot retire more rearguards after it has become in the engorge state Simple way to remmeber the engorge skill is "When a unit engorges, it eats another reargaurd(s). And if it stands, it can't eat/engorge anymore because it is full. And if it eats anymore, the unit will explode and we dont want our cards to explode." We are sorry for the misplay in this video
Nexus Corps It's ok. I was just wondering if I heard right. However, if units like Sarcoblaze and Apatomaser come back from the drop zone through Gaia's Stride Skill after becoming Engorged, I believe they lose the state and you can use the Engorge ability again. Then again, I could be wrong.
Matthew Dexter So, it turns out (after asking a head judge at BWC in California), you can still use dogma's skill to retire rearguards even after Dogma restands
its a thing which u use when u cant ride a certain grade u show ur hand to ur opponent look at the top 5 cards for that certain grade which u cant ride and if u get it u add it to uer hand and banish 2 of ur cards from ur hand and 2 of ur g units :)
Hey guys at nexus corps...regarding ur most recent RPBA revengers deck profile...do u think with all the new gear chronically stuff that I would manage to pull through and still be competitive even in this current meta? I love shadows and really like RPBA but if I'm gonna invest my money on the deck I need to know if it will work
Well, Shadows are always a solid choice in this meta, and with RPBA, you have an early game option against them. Your biggest match-up problem is kagero, who can start burning rear guards before you get a chance to retire them. Just keep that in mind to not start dropping a field until you're ready to go off.
Here's my honest opinion Gear Chronicle is ridiculously over supported and its mostly Tick Tock thats making everything worse for everyone. I believe you shouldn't have to think "Can Shadows keep up with Gear Chronicle before I decide to make it?" You should just build the deck you want to build. Don't try to worry about whether it can keep up with Gear Chronicle. Gear Chronicle is just really dumb right now because English hasn't restricted Tick Tock yet. So build your Revenger deck and have fun with it. I would never recommend someone to not build a deck because another clan/meta is better and will beat it. Revengers have just as good a chance to beat Gears as any other deck. You just gotta play it to the best of your abilities. Also its Vanguard. You'll probably just get a bunch of critical triggers before your opponent does and win.
At about 5:30 to 6:00, the vanguard's skill should be totally finished then you can use your grade 0 baby's skill to search one grade 1 unit. So you can't draw one card after you use the baby's skill, you should do it before.
Josh Youp [AUTO](VC) Generation Break 3:[Counter Blast (2) & Choose one of your rear-guards, and put it into your soul] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to "THREE" cards from your soul, and call them to separate (RC). Then, if you have five or more rear-guards, your opponent chooses two of his or her rear-guards, and puts them into his or her soul. At the end of that turn, put the units called with this effect into your soul.
i'd love to see your Gaia emperor deck, wouldn't have thought of using more than one baby camara in the build

Can someone explain how engorge works I'm making a deck and I don't know how it works
cardfight.wikia.com/wiki/Engorge
On the first Dogma turn, he should've called Freezernyx and either the draw or crit in front of it and had the other boost Tank Mammoth #Columns

you earned my subscribe brodie i hope you can put effects on rearguards call as well ( just a suggestion tho XD )
not going to effects on rearguards because it would get immensely annoying
to listen to.
Grade 4 Harri skill only allows you to call 2 cards from soul not 3

Oh snap lol thank you
I absolutely HATE... HATE HATE HATE the way they flick and shuffle their cards when thinking. That's just such an awful, grating sound.
