Boring? Slow paced? Too long? Kinda depressing to see what bloated superhero CGI-fests have done to younger moviegoers. JAWS is a classic, not one second is wasted, and it forever changed cinema. "You're gonna need a better reaction." Enjoyed watching you, though!
SLOW PACED? BORING? I don't think so. Quint's USS Indianapolis speech is one of the most famous in all of cinema. I feel sorry for younger movie audiences. All they know today are dark, depressing CGI heavy, superhero movies with perpetual explosions and crashing cars. Sad.
Sorry you have adhd and you couldn't focus but his story was about 1,000 men went into the water 300 came out, sharks ate the rest, was a factual incident during the war. Reason for his hatred of sharks. Peace from Northern Michigan.
Dude, you have the attention span of a moth.
Dude what are you on?!...something powerful 🍄
Reactor: That guy's kind of immature.
Also Reactor: A whole other hour? Watching movies is suuuuch hard work.
p.s. This reaction is taking four times longer than it should.
feigned concern is bad but a lack of empathy can be just as VULGAR bye
40:50 -- Each barrel has a lifting force of ABOUT 250 pounds.. Putting barrels on him means he has to swim dragging them and trying to go under pulling that much weight expends A LOT of energy. The overall idea, is that the barrels are supposed to keep him up near the surface.
The film that invented the summer blockbuster. Spielbergs third horror film (the first two being made-for t.v movies Duel and Something Evil.) One of my top twenty favorites of all time!
You know what the crazy part of all this is? The Mayor was STILL the Mayor in the next movie.......
I always recommend you also watch the Jaws Documentary - well worth the watch. That scene where the tooth was found and the guys head pops out from the hole in the boat - Spielberg thought he could get one more good scare out of the audience with that scene - filmed in a swimming pool with milk added. He was right of course. And just how hard it was to make this movie and how it almost ended Spielberg's career before it even got started. And Dreyfuss was supposed to die initially but then they got really great footage in Australia of a shark attacking a shark cage but nobody was inside - so they decided to let Dreyfuss live by swimming down and hiding until it was over. So you like action and hate most things - sounds like you're a fan of black comedy - have you watched 'Little Murders?' I believe 1971. 'Needful Things' - 'Very Bad Things.'
38:16 -- It was the shark, there was the under-theme (music) --- And, there's not many fish in the entire ocean that can bite through thick piano wire...
12:58 -- $3000 back in 1975 is ROUGHLY about $12,700 in today's money.
You maybe had to be there in 1975, sad that some people these days will never get it but back then it was the best movie ever.
His leg was the only body part the shark didn't eat.
Uh, stop watching. You cut out all of the good scenes anyway.
Clueless. If anyone reads this. This KID is clueless
The scene with Ben Gardner's head and upper torso lunge at Hooper was filmed in a swimming pool. Steven Spielberg wanted another jump scare and he delived the goods. To this day people who have viewed the movie have said that scene was the scariest scene in the entire movie.
I've actually known a few lets call them people who were exactly like you ...all I can say is YIKES
Awesome movie, great reaction, long films can be boring, jfk for instance is about 3.5 hrs…you nailed everything.
6:48 to be fair, there’s not much a drunk dude could do against a regular great white shark, let alone a 5 ton behemoth like this one. Alcohol saved his life lol
WOW!😟
lol…you are going to get roasted my guy! To each his own. 🤷♂️
I mean it sucks that you have ADHD but doing reaction videos is probably not gonna be your thing.....just saying.
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ The next "Fast and Furious" is coming. Watch the others meanwhile...
You have to watch Jaws2. It's better than the first Jaws. It has more action.
Jaws2 is more Fast Paced.
Quints speech.. One of the best moments ever.. "Skip this part"? The story he told is true. it did happen.
This guy just needs to stick to reacting to cartoons.
