I have these clippers. And I have none of these issues. It’s been my go to everyday and I have the instincts and the play clipper. You also can find them online for cheaper closer to the $200 mark 🤷♂️ but hey I can appreciate your feedback and look forward to more of your videos
Mine hasn’t snagged once but I did notice that it comes with a very soft zero gap out the box and I adjusted mine to a more aggressive setting after a few haircuts, maybe that’s the solution to the ones that snag since the power is definitely there.
I totally agree with you about these companies trying to come out with too many products. That’s why I always stick with JRL always quality products. Customer service service is unbelievable. They don’t try to come up with too much at once. Everything they come out with is solid and has lasted me for a long time.
This review is spot on. I have the clipper also and it’s a average clipper. The instincts are far better. The echo blade isn’t that good. I changed to the gold faper blade and it performed better. Definitely not worth the price. This is a honest review! Thanks Reggie!
I like the Saber 2, but it does snag skin. I think I’m going to change the echo blade with the black diamond carbon DLC blade. I found the Saber 2 at target for $218.
Thanks for the review I was waiting for your take on it. I like them but I think it over priced I didn’t pay that much for my cyborg clipper $130. Think I’m go with the vapor
I own the REBEL too. It’s one of the best kept secrets. Awesome power, awesome fading, awesome at detailing, it’s a great all around clipper. It’s like the Senior but better. My opinion.
We are getting to the point with clippers and trimmers where there is very little difference between new releases. They just playing around with rpms and spms at this point with very little difference performance wise
I like the Saber 2, but it does snag skin. I think I’m going to change the echo blade with the black diamond carbon DLC blade. I found the Saber 2 at target for $218. The vapor is cheap, it won’t last. The instinct blade bracket weakens overtime. Once you change the blade I think it would out perform most clippers on the market.
At the end of the day it is still a brushless motor that we've all seen. A jrl/play motor will always be better as well as the vector motor if only they could hold up.
I bought these last week full price. Wasn’t happy at all. Performance wasn’t there, wouldn’t cut bulk or cut clean. I love SC I think the instincts are their greatest clipper to this day. These were cool, not worth the price at all though.
@MaybachSniper That's just your opinion. The instincts are lighter stronger and have a longer run time. The onyx has dual speeds and is super quiet. I don't know much about the vapor cause I haven't used it. But from what I've seen it looks like the ultimate fade clipper. Don't get caught up on the hype of the new clipper feel. I know i do at times. But to be the goat i feel like you have to be almost the best in all categories.
@@jonasvann5387 I can respect that and I’m not going to disagree with you cause you obviously know what you’re talking about but just try them for yourself, you won’t be disappointed, try the Vapors too they nice af
It’s not a bad clipper but I am a bigger fan of the Instincts for sure. But it can come down to preference, everyone will have a different opinion based on feel.
Now this is an honest man!!! Love the reviews!!!

Mine never snagged & this the only clipper I use all day.

@@AppleMini570makw a video of em lever open going through decently thick hair i dare ya champ
Not all guy commented his don't snag
I’ll pass the tpob play is way better for half the price
Facts
VGR-640 is half the price of the TPO Play
Vapor review next? I've been waiting for this one.. split between the two
Look up on youtube, the vapor is an old clipper with a different blade for 3x the price.
The dark star from supreme trimmer is a way better option if you like the vector motor
Hey brother, how can we get the apron you're wearing? I'm a big guy and its hard to find quality aprons. Thanks for the review btw.

@reggie i do agree on the price. The price of these companies are getting crazy

Instict X vs Instinc Metal vs Instinct ?
As far as clipper, the InstinctX for sure.
@@CutsByReggie Is Instinc X above the first Instinct?
They aren't loud at all

Dull blades are what makes it crunch, the saber 2 echo blades are dull as hell
I sold my saber 2.0 for Wahl vapor the vapor is really good
Great dog clipper for sure
Bro, are 400 canadian 😳 not worth.
It’s MRD CLIPPER THEY JUAT CHANGE THE NAME
Even for mrd's 200$ price it's not amazing, better clippers out there
300😂😂
So basically a overpriced mid-performing clipper?
Nahh this the best clipper in the game right now. Slightly better than the Vapor, Instinct and Onyx.
