You did a very nice job with this kit. The Revell 1/72 scale Fokker D-VII is an ancient kit, first released in 1964. I built the 1975 "Collector's Choice" edition in high school when it first came out, and used the decals included for Ernst Udet's aircraft - mainly because it had less lozenge to paint; which I painstakingly applied with toothpicks (but without any rib tape.) I still have it, and it's one of the oldest built models in my collection, and one of my personal favorites. Of course, a short time later, Micro Scale came out with lozenge decals . . . . Thanks for sharing this!
Hi nice work! I have the same model from Eduard. Do you know why it has all that wheels? I see they have very little differences but I could not find any reference for these. Thanks!
Hi thanks! I'm not sure but l think they might be for different versions of the aircraft, not included in the box. Kind of like how some spitfire kits include different wingtips eventhough the decals are for only one type of spitfire.
Nice work. Those new eduard decals look like a real pain.

Really cool to hear! I couldn't imagine the pain of painting the lozenge by hand😅 lt's nice to see how much the hobby has evolved through time!
This is what we call a glue bomb.
Nice build. Keep modelling on
Really nice build 👍 I have some extra Eduard decals too, maybe I'll buy a Revell Fokker for them, too. :D
Good idea! just know that the kit is pretty old and that you'll need to do a lot of work on it to get a descent result!
