I remember the tight food bags. I was always amazed by them as a little kid and they have been doing this since I can remember, over 40-50 yrs... Lisa, the drink bag is called a one finger bag, so you have the rest of your fingers free for other stuff. Enjoy, love watching you two!

Chiangmai Is amazing and definately a favorite spot, enjoy being there, Stay a while there's so much to see and do.
Go see an elephant sanctuary, so much fun.
Mango sticky rice is a favourite and a sweet roti.

Chiang mai is such a comfortable place. Great food, inexpensive everything, western amenities, not huge like Bangkok. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Although time to leave before burning season starts... That's a miserable period.

@@kathyhirsch379 farmers burn their fields to prepare for the new crop. It makes the whole area smoky and hard to breathe. Google it. Starts in late Jan, early Feb.
I loved this bc I miss Chiang Mai!!! Next time you should stay at Gord Nuea Boutique House. The old couple that owns it is SO SWEET and the husband has an amazing cafe on site in a shipping container, and it's all decked out and looks lovely. He made the best chai tea I've ever had plus such amazing cold brew!!! They are wonderful hosts. Please check them out :)

A-Ha LOL, it's so simple for Thai people that we tied the plastic bag with the rubber band. You will round the rubber band on the plastic bag just 6 times. It's easy to loose the rubber band finally. 😁😁😁

Josh is so cute, so interested with that plastic bag…hahah. Have you drank soda from a plastic bag with a straw. I’m Filipina and I refuse to drink from one of those. Try it! You got it Josh, now you can a mobile food cart and sell street food on the streets of the USA…or wherever yo come from. It’s amazing how Asians can create things to make things easy and practical. I like your videos. Keep it up.

The beauty of Asian countries, apart from the history, temples etc. is always the FOOD. Especially the street food! So enjoy! And Josh, I don't think I'd recommend for you to be a street food vendor, people would be starving waiting for you to tie that plastic bag 🤣🤣

When I was a little kid, my mom taught me untight and kept thoes rubber rings for reused . Now ...time change... I just use scissors and throw everythings to trash bin. 😁
haha this is a great story, thank you for sharing :) I would do the same--keep all the bags and rubberbands--but the scissors are so handy!

Thailand have the best street foods in the entire world.Every where you go,you will find foods and foods and foods.You don’t find that in USA,cheap and delicious.

Gotta admit, I was also impressed with the bags of soup and sauce when I first got to SE Asia but not as dumbfounded as you seemed to be but the follow through with you asking a local to teach you and then doing it until you got it made for an entertaining video. Nice job.
