    this was really helpful! while all my other temates learned this, I was stuck learning setter, and back row, which was really confusing... THANKS!!

    Isn't the outside suposed to pull back I think that's wrong but you did a good job explaining it

    shouldn't the middles always be in the middle? do they have to switch with someone to be in the middle when they're on the right side?

    Volleyball Videos I was thinking the same thing, just for the defensive pass, there is a better chance to get the ball with more surface area. Then the hitter would move back up for the set.

    good info BUT I wish he wouldn't be showing 5 person serve rec. I wont be using this to train just for that fact. Other than that well done!

    Interesting, you don't suggest for someone from the front row to come back and help serve receive? Nice video otherwise.

      no they shouldn't because the 2 players in the back need to hustle and pass the ball so the setter can set it & the 3 hitters in the front can be ready to spike the ball over

      But the person who comes from the front row to help with serve receive can still get into position and be ready to hit.

      As an outside hitter, I always had the habit to come back and help my teammate for the service/reception. You just have to take the habit to dig high enough to have time to move back to your position.
