    Been loving this series of your homecoming, our country is so beautiful. I honestly amost cried when you reunited with your grandparents, so happy you got to. Saw my sister last year because she has been in China for years, the feeling is indescribable.

    Once again you had me teary-eyed. The parts with great-grandma and basic school principal especially. The reunion was wonderful!!🎉🪭♥️Parting is such sweet sorrow!!🥹😘😘 Glad you all had a wonderful time and made wonderful memories.

    Came across your page when you were getting ready to travel jamaica, look forward each week for your post, as i am also from st. Thomas, left jamaica 28 years now, visit home once or twice per year. There is no place like home 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇬🇧🇬🇧

      The highway was AMAZING! To be honest, I have no reference of how it was before but I can tell it was a big change needed! Hopefully St.Thomas gets to let go that "Forgotten Parish" label smh

    I am Jamaican living in the US and I haven’t been home in 5 years actually going this summer and I just thought this video was so healing for me I have family in planning to visit that I haven’t seen in 10 plus years and I just started crying watching this video. So authentic . So beautiful. So genuine and relatable.

    i left jamaica over 50 years ago i was 7 going on 8 to america and have not been back since. but my oldest sister made plans for all who can to go back to JA this summer i will be one of them along with my grandson who is the same age i was when i came to america NYC. my daughter and GRAND DAUGTHER HAS NEVER BEEN THEIR. hoping to have the money for all to go. i am now in my early 60th. i am retired u.s military (army) and i want to go visit my birth home and see my grand parents grave. because for the first 7 years of my life that who i live with. because my mom and dad was in america preparing for us to joint them in nyc. my mom and dad had 10 kids 6 boy and 4 girls. my oldest brother went to Harvard and the Harvard law School. but went right back to Jamaica, after passing the NYS BAR EXAM. he is good friends with alot of powerful people here in America that went to Harvard with him. i will not name any. he has dual citizenship like you do so he comes back and forth from JA all the time we are from Montego Bay BIG UP JA ALWAYS

      @@globallibran378 I WAS IN THE ARMY AND THE YEARS JUST SLIP BY. being station all over god creation did not help plus i dont really remember much about jamaica i grew up playing basketball and baseball in nyc and westchester county. your talking about the 60s and the 70s. the 80s 90s 2000s 2000s+ i was in the army

      The roots of jollof are actually Senegalese. They call it wolof there. But cuisine across West Africa contains plenty similarities. There is jollof in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Gambia etc. You hear about Nigerian and Ghanaian jollof the most, though. There is serious competition between them so let’s try to not spark any debate here haha.
