The quality was never this bad when Action made diecasts, I got Gragson's Black Rifle Coffee car from last year and it's got black specs all over it, honestly thought it was a raced version cause it looks like it has dirt and debris all over it.

I found some wave 8 cars in a local Wal-Mart that had crushed up packages like 0:00 and 0:25. Unlike those two, the cars in the packages were not harmed.
