Saw an interview with Steven Tyler on Howard Stern about the recording of this,he said he broke the vibra slap and they kept it in,you can hear it break,he also said they didn't have any shakers so he used a sugar packet with the mike turned way up.
I couldn’t agree more, there have been three bass riffs that moved me to the point i started playing. Muse’s Hysteria is one, the second one is Queen’s Invisible Man and this, Aerosmith’s Sweet Emotion is the third and final one. Fucking love it \m/

Arie from No Treble has a good video with some exercises on how to break it down into Parts and mess around with the rhythms and notes a little bit so you really really understand & master it

Excellent, this is case one can see exactly what is going on without need for tabs, should be able to. But that opening riff needs to be placed correctly for the song to work, close isn't good enough. The others riffs I need to clean up a tad, see what I needed to see, thx
